Looking forward to the visit. I've got some meetings scheduled with
a fellow at HS/Cutoms. asking them about allied/coalition nationals

Yes agreed that does seem a bit strange. Why was it there and did he race with it on???

Just a guess but looks to me like the pit board was placed there to keep the sun out of the drivers eyes (in the pits anyway ;D)

I figured they were practicing for the next round of ACO rule changes.
[Edit] I received that "another poster has replied to this thread while you were posting" message and ignored it. Naturally, Lorry beats me to the joke.

It was an early ACO proposal to slow them down.
in the end they have decided to lighten the Astons instead, and make
the Corvette boys race with a pirate patch over one eye.
