Why would he want to swap photos of a fantastic, elegant, stunningly attractive example of British engineering, for a lumbering fat, ugly yellow blob powered by a truck engine??

Brad, my view exactly, must dig some more shots out. I thought the F430 of Risi Competizione did well for first time out of the box. Would liked to have stayed up till the wee small hours, hopefully there will be the movie soon? 8)

Stewart Roden's team Scuderia Ecosse will be returning to LM this year with an F430 for the first time and will be watching the team's progress leading up to La Sarthe.

Those of you that did not stay up missed a cracking last hour.
The final spyder leaked oil on turn 10, causing loads of other cars to slide off. The Aston Corvette battle continued to the line. Liz Halliday finished the race in the Lola.
1st Place went to AUDI R10
2nd Plance went to Intersport Lola
3rd Place went to Corvette no 4
Not there was an LMP1, LMP2 and a GT1 in the top three!!!!!

Why would he want to swap photos of a fantastic, elegant, stunningly attractive example of British engineering, for a lumbering fat, ugly yellow blob powered by a truck engine?? BECAUSE IT WON!!!

but you are right about how beautiful the Astons are even though they don't do the twisties very well.
-
Its very suprising that the Astons didnt do the twisty bits very well - opposite to last year compared to the vetts - were they on Perelli's last year?
-
Mitchelin Last year I believe
-
They were on Michelins last year.
-
Checked my pictures they are Mitchelins, there are sponsered by mitchelin too so must have been.
-
Obviously got a better deal from Perelli - hope it gets better for them!
-
What did they do undercut the cost of Mitchelins, It has always bugged me why Car manufactures would change makes when they are winning???
I know we all strive for something better but I found pirellis really bad in the wet and they lasted nowhere long as michelin.
Before you say it I am on about bicycle racing tires best comparism I have. ;D

All this talk of Mitchelins and Perellis..... are you sure they weren't Gudyears or Bridgestownes or even Fyerstones maybe
