And that hat he is wearing (David Brabhams podium hat !) brought £25 for the marshals at Silverstone in todays auction.

I bought Johnny O Connells boots for £40 ;D

Total raised was £1000. Several items didn't sell so will be placed on ebay. I have asked to be sent the link when posted so I can post it on here to drum up extra interest. Items to go on ebay include Andy Wallace boots and visor, James Weaver boots (2 pairs) and gloves. Moto GP hats signed by the riders etc. One hat had 15 riders signitures on it and nobody wanted it, not even as low as £25 !

The items I collected went for the following.

Corvette signed Johnny O Connell boots £40 (To me)
Max Papis visor  £20,
Audi Flag signed by Sebring winners £30,
Aston Martin, bag, t shirt flag and signed hat £55,
Cadillac t shirts £20 for the three of them.
David Brabhams hat £25.

So thats £190 plus whatever the other items fetch on Ebay.


Mc Nish's 1000KM of Silverstone podium hat will also be going on ebay.

On a sh*t note, my mate placed an e mail bid on Thursday night for a signed Senna ,Williams photo. He was prepared to bid up to £150 for it. Sadly the auctioners home was broken into on Friday morning and two lap tops and mobiles and other stuff taken, so the bid e mail never made it through due to the PC being stolen, so he missed out on getting the picture. It went for £85 at the auction

A Jarno Trulli Renault suit (show suit but not race worn, but autographed )  went for the bargain price of £150.

A 1 /18th Exoto replica of Jackie Stewarts Tyrrell 003 signed by Jackie went for £100.
