We need two mature, preferably French-speaking guys, to go down on Tuesday to set up a few of our tents in advance of our arrival on Friday pm. We rea a group of 38. We will provide your transport plus expenses and entry tickets. You will have a great weekend with us. We are Midlands-based and look fwd to meeting you asap.

I do believe these guys offered the same deal last year. All they are looking for is a driver and a skivvey.
If you can't be bothered to set up your own gear f**k off and use MRI or better still go to Butlins

I've just read the first post again and not only can't they bothered to set their own camp up but they want you to go down on tuesday and basically save space for 38 people until friday :o
I can see that one going down a treat when the camp fills up on thursday afternoon.

Maybe they should be more open (if it is the same crew as e**y they seem to be playing their cards closer now) and offering some financial inducements for the services required well as a fully expensed trip or be fully integrated with their group as an equal to the rest. I think they thought it would be a good offer to somebody desperate - obviously misguided as to the ethos of LM.

Not sure it is the same group. These are Midlands based whereas the e**y ones were from Essex - unless they moved Essex a hundred miles or so.
Same dodgy philosophy though - want a couple of skivvies for peanuts. How much for the ferry and entrance tickets split between 38 people?? Less than a fiver a head!!
Think I'll start my own version:

Je suis parlez Francais till le chiens returne avec leurs queues remuant, comme la porte de merdehouse.
Anyway, I don't care what this lot say, I'm up for it. My friend and I can also be described as mature, admittedly in much the same way as a nice Camembert or Stilton can. As an added bonus we can supply specialist medical services as well, - my companion has lanced more piles than you've had hot dinners, I'd expect. He keeps some of them in his wallet to show the girls.
Please let me have the SP, - I can't wait. (My colleague has started packing the Preperation H/Fiery Jack cocktail already.)
