Title: Re: Hello! Post by: amazing 1 on May 17, 2006, 09:51:12 pm Hello Lurker.
Speaking of the Poo Bar,has anyone had a confirmation that there will be one this year? That is one of the main reasons I am going. I love this place, another hijacked thread.lol Title: Re: Hello! Post by: Perdu on May 17, 2006, 10:45:54 pm Hi Lurker.
As to hijacked threads, does Fran's nice new portrait mean she will be wandering round the camp sites barefoot on her bike? With scarves a'billowing? 8) ;D Title: Re: Hello! Post by: Fran on May 17, 2006, 10:52:14 pm With scarves a'billowing? I certainly wont, look what happened to Isadora Duncan and her billowing scarves..... :o Title: Re: Hello! Post by: Snoring Rhino on May 17, 2006, 10:58:45 pm Hi Lurker, good to see youve decided to come out in time from the main event. It's interesting that, in common with many of us on this form, your memory is possibly not what it used to be, you are however sure that you need to yeild to the call of La Sarthe 8) in june.
Have no worries Randy, there will be a Poo bar meeting this year even if there is no Poo bar to host it. Title: Re: Hello! Post by: Barry on May 17, 2006, 11:06:42 pm Have no worries Randy, there will be a Poo bar meeting this year even if there is no Poo bar to host it. Do not worry Randy, with 2 squeezy bottles, a plank, a piece of sticky back plastic, some shock cord and a Swiss army knife we will make a poo bar if necessary ;) Looking forward to meeting you and the rest of US contingent at LM. Title: Re: Hello! Post by: Andy on May 17, 2006, 11:23:39 pm Hi Lurker, good to hear you are making the annual pilgrimage, shame you are not on the CA party campsite.
good to hear there is to be a Poo Bar, albeit a Blue Peter Poo Bar but where is the lean to to be.........sugestions anyone. the orginal site i believe is still a building site? Out of the tunnel to the left .....maybe.........Dunlop Beach? Title: Re: Hello! Post by: Papa Lazarou on May 17, 2006, 11:36:34 pm Hi Lurker...
Hope you have a nice time here. As it's my first LM this year, I'm kinda looking forward to the Poo Bar, which may or may not exist, at a time that may or may not change. I'm placing a lot of faith in these guys ^^^ to find something tangible that we can call a Poo Bar. Otherwise I think I'm going to be wandering around in some kind of existential mind bending experience for 5 days while trying to work out if I exist, the Poo Bar exists, if there is some kind of race going on, and whether the Charlatans are any good... ??? See you there (wherever that is), or somewhere else, Patrick. :-\ Title: Re: Hello! Post by: jpchenet on May 18, 2006, 09:15:25 am There will be a poo bar!! It makes huge anmounts of money and the ACO have to pay for the village refurb somehow so they aren't going to stop their caterers from setting up (at huge expense I guess)
If for some crazy reason there isn't one, then we'll simply meet at the site of the old poo bar with a pop up gazebo and a handwritten, "CA Poo Bar" cardboard sign! Most of us take our own drinks along anyway (I think a bottle of Mumm was 45/50 last year wheereas you can buy the same in carrefour and chill it yourself for about 20/25. We take Sparkling JP Chenet which is about 5/6 a pop. We've got one of those cheapo shops in town at the moment and I'm pretty sure they sell packs of 6 plastic champagne flutes for about £1.50. I might grab a few packs!! Title: Re: Hello! Post by: jpchenet on May 18, 2006, 09:16:18 am Oh, and Hi Lurker!!
(Don't be surprised if you come back to look at this thread and find it's been moved to the "Just to say hi" section!) Title: Re: Hello! Post by: amazing 1 on May 18, 2006, 03:21:56 pm POO BAR,POO BAR ALL HAIL THE GRAND POO BAR !!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Quote Termietermite, With comments like this it would be best you avoid the Basingstoke area. JPC is cosidered to be necter of the gods around those parts. ;D To even suggest they should try another brand is sacrilidge :o Title: Re: Hello! Post by: termietermite on May 19, 2006, 01:12:43 pm I will attempt to avoid Basingstoke, I promise. As I live in the Sarthe this should be easy. ;)
Title: Re: Hello! Post by: jpchenet on May 19, 2006, 01:25:49 pm Hmmm, Team Saumur???
