Aaah the great sport of microwave tossing. Not even the pikies would touch that microwave after Tom had finished with it.

If you change your mind they're on sale in supermarkets over here for around £30 for the cheapest. Funny plug but work fine with adaptor.

termietermite,
Your obviously new around here. ;D ;D ;D ;D
I don't do conventional Microwave Cookery. I do Light Bulbs and CDs.
I have in fact sorted a microwave now. JPC gave me a link for a £3 microwave in Baskingstoke.
All we have to do is sort out getting it to The Sarthe.
So any one that has old light bulbs or any CDs they are fed up with bring then along and we'll cook then.

Right. Lightbulbs and CDs it is then. Which campsite should I avoid?

I was talking to a student at the University of Surrey a couple of months ago and they suggested making a small ball of wax up and putting it under a glass bowl in the microwave......and whammy one plasma ball.
Apparentlly do it in the dark and you get a fantastic glow from the microwave for about 20 seconds!!!!
I'll see if I can get a spare microwave from the Uni

Wishy That sounds cool.
I may try some grape racing too.
The year before last some one suggested we try to Microwave a "AA" Battery. But I can tell you now you can forget that.
Old Light Bulbs are very pretty in a micro wave. Spot Lights are really good they do explode though. Which does present problems getting rid of the left overs.
I was very disappionted by crisp packets plastic foil type.

I seem to remember the laptop being something of a let down as well. :( Much more fun smashing it to pieces with a sledgehammer and having it run over by that flatbed recovery truck. ::) ;D ::) ;D

How could you forget this?

I love that crazed look in Tom's eye!

Was that the truck there to pick up the black ultima?
-
No, this was Sunday evening a couple years ago, it was recovering a winnebago (or similar) from BSJ back to Blighty.

Didn't the Ultima arrive on a trailer & go home on said trailer. As far as I could see he only used it to go across the field to the Bog :P What was the other white car that arrived on breakdown truck?
-
The black Ultima went home on a trailer because it had a whopping great crack on the sump and had pissed all its oil out somewhere. He probably cracked it on his trip to the bog. Dunno what white car you are talking about I missed, I was probably comatosed in a bush or avoiding flying microwaves.
