I used to work in PR, where the standard response is..."I don't know, I'll get back to you...."

You just need some petrol in an enclosed space for some proper fun.

Its made by British Oxygen Limited so I don't think BOL LOX would be very nice on bagels
-
I've got the license to obtain Medical grade oxygen if that is any good ::)
-
That will be as a compressed gas though, not in cryrogenic liquid form.
-
Quite correct my chick-a-dee, would you like some LOX, that can be arranged as well, but doubt if the ferry company would allow it, especially near nitrogen tetroxide or hydrogen peroxide.
first ferry in space
-
I have access to a source of Liquid oxygen, but there is no way I am gonna travel anywhere with it.

Bloody hell Tom! :o :o :o
I know you are mourning the demise of the microwave so you can no longer attempt to superheat water, but for the love of God do you really need to try and set light to the whole campsite?
-
What a way to light a barbie.
Carefour sell strange chemicals, like neat alcohol, acids and ammonia, didn't notice any LOX

HELP
Anyone got space at their pad? It's taken me ages to get my hair to an inch and a half long and I don't want it torched by Tom's pyrotechnic maniacal tendencies.

For the non-scientific amongst us wikpedia gives a fair overview to what Tom is trying to source. If he does find anyone willing (completely insane) to bring him some over. Can they a) inform us of there travel arrangements so we can change ours. b) write a will and c) give up smoking.

Jay that wikipedia page it a bit lacking it mentions nothing of BBQ lighting. I think the George Goble
http://www.doeblitz.net/ghg/ page is far better. I particualy like the Stills that look like they are doing it a night when in fact it done in bright sunshine.

Wow, 40lbs of charcoal burnt in 3 seconds, 8) 8)

Tom, I refer you to the external links at the bottom of the wikpedia page. I think it is the same BBQ lighting page yuo are mentioning.

But you won't have any grass left to cut!!! ;D ;D

How about this for lighting the barbecue?
A quantity of potassium nitrate (powdered)
A quantity of Sulphur (powdered)
A quantity of Carbon (Powdered)
...... hang on?
Or get hold of a nice oxdising agent, to mix in with the charcoal. I'm sure you'll find something in the horticulture depatrment of carrefour.

I you let Tom any wher near any LOX or other Chemicals then this Teeshirt will be particuarly appropriate.
