Pescarolo driver Jean-Christophe Boullion broke his wrist and is OUT for the race.
No spare driver named yet and I can't think of too many fast and consitant drivers with a french passport...
So the #1 car with Collard and Comas has one free seat to be taken.
I wonder who it will be and we're coming closer and closer to the race
-
blimy!! That sucks for Christophe, anyone in CA with a race license and a good french accent!!
-
If that goes this way, then I'll hurry to make my license tomorrow
Is oui, non, merci, de rien, bonjour, au revoir, xx bierres s'il vouz plait and voulez-vouz couchez avec moi enough to be considered at least a little bit french ;D
I really wonder who will take that spot
If it's a rookie he must do 10 laps on sunday
Who many years is the maximum since the last race to be considered as an experienced Le Mans driver?
Alesi raced in 1989 for Schuppan Takefuji
Dalmas, Ayari would be quite obvious
Some FFSA-GT racer?
Prost, Raphanel?
Le Patron himself?
I'll keep you updated as www.project-lemans.de is very up to date with news from all the sportscar racing and free for all other than DSC
-
I guess you couldn't go too wrong with Dalmas if i was picking
-
Looks like Christophe Bouchut will be in...
-
With Piquet Jnr taking his place in the Russian Age Aston
-
I was going to say that Sebastien Bourdais would be the obvious canidate, BUT! Champcar is racing in Portland that weekend.
Fax
-
I'd say Franck Lagorce.
-
Christophe Bouchut to drive Pesc'. NELSON PIQUET JR will replace Bouchut at Russian Age.
-
Wasn't Seb Loeb in that one?
-
Wasn't Seb Loeb in that one?
Not quite, Loeb is in the second Pescarolo entry with Franck Montagny & Eric Helary.
It should be quite interesting to see how they stack up against the more conventional sportscar racers in the other car!!
-
Haven't they done a deal to get Minasian or is that someone else... sure I read it somewhere.
>Martini...
-
That's right Mart, Nicki Minasian will now drive the no.1 Pesca.
-
Autosport is reporting that Bouchut has been dropped in favour of Minassian because he didn't cut the mustard on the test day. Apparently Christophe's best lap was around 3:40, when they're expecting race-pace to be 3:35.
