I recommend you dress up as Bernie Clifton, sneak over the barriers and run about out of control, chaotically knocking things over and creating madcap mayhem all around. You'd certainly be a favourite with the kiddies.

It's that or you could try and make some proper arrangements with the ACO well in advance. Is there any particular reason you think you should be allowed into the Driver's Parade, or do you just fancy it?

A couple of years ago we jumped over the barrier and joined in with the Hells Angels on our mini-scooters.

The chain fell off mine when we were messing about, so ended up getting pushed all the way round by a marshal!
