Chop has (finally) released the video he made at LM this year and it is worth a look. Unfortunately, it is currently hosted on a friend's web-site with limited Gb download facility, so he is not making it public.
I have a copy on my machine but I don't have a website.
Anyone out there willing to host it, or I could email it to anyone who wants a copy - takes about 18 mins to download at 2Gb.
Thanks Chop - nice to meet up with you and your mates. Next year I might even have a go with the funnel and tube!! See you on MB next year.

Try contacting LangTall, I am not sure how much space and bandwith we have on our site, but might be possible!

2 GB means 7 downlaods and we're over our monthly traffic limit, so that's not the best of options. On the other hand, I could host it at home, Downloading it will take some more time then, but there's no traffic limit. ;)

You could try putting it on youtube. Not sure how it works but it seems to be a very popular option.

Youtube has a size limit, I think it is about 60 MB, so 2 GB would be a tad bit big ;D

It's actually 1.7Gb, but the difference doesn't make any difference, if you see what I mean :-\ :-\
I tried to email it to someone but it totally screwed up my PC. Took me a couple of hours to get it going again.
Someone else is trying to host it - leave it at that for the moment. If he is unsuccessful, I could burn it onto a CD and send it via snail-mail.

1.7 GB won't fit to a CD Del. ;) As I PM'ed you, I can host it at home, no limits there. Also no problem with burning some copies for the Dutch to spread it around.

That's American measurement, though. ;)
I wouldn't go to the trouble of burning CD's, either. It pretty much sucks. ;D

I guess that you for yourself will know the size of the file chop. ;) As said, if you need some webspace, just drop me a line.

I thought it was good - some of the footage is a big shaky as you said (you haven't seen mine yet though! ;D) but it really did show the spirit of Le Mans. Your choice of music was great as well ;D Don't be too modest about it!

It's actually 177MB.
So it is, Chop. My old eyes read that as 1777Mb. (Memo to self - read more carefully).
Anyway, I agree with Piglet - it is OK. A good mix of material - can't comment on the music though - my PC is soundless at the moment!!

I've put on the DfH-website, as we normally don't exceed our monthly traffic limit. ;) It will be there for ONE WEEK. After that period of time, I'll remove it, and put it somewhere else, where there is no usage limit, but a speed limit. So get it while you can!
However, I'll be monitoring this for the forthcoming week, and if we reach the limit to fast, I'll have to take it down earlier.

To hijack Chop's thread slightly....
I'm editing my Le Mans video this weekend and I've got quite a lot of footage of the DfH party (20 mins +) - I'm planning to use bits of it in the short video and I might put together a longer video over the winter if I get bored but there will probably be quite a bit of the footage that I won't use. If one of you guys wants the raw footage I'll try to copy it across to a DVD (I'm struggling with the new Studio 10 softward slightly ???) and you can add it to whatever other footage you've got.
Hopefully the video should follow after this weekend ;D

Naa Randy is telling you that you're corrupt - the file is fine ;D
I dunno I downloaded it from its original location....hopefully Lang-tall will be along to sort it out. I'll get back to my video editing once the GP has finished. For once it's worth watching!

Just dowloaded it and watched it all OK, very good video. Once I clear the hard disk I will upload the video off my camcorcorder and edit it.

Close. That footage was taken from the berm behind DfH soon after the start of the race.

Not bad Chop, like Piglet said it captures the spirit of LM. In your 12 minute film I saw more racing than I have in the last 12 years. Especially liked the Thank You to the Super U Ice Man in the end credits.

Hi guys, took the link down again. Chop, it has been downloaded 173 times sofar.
If someone still needs a download link, they can PM me. Got some other place I could host it, but it has very limited bandwith, and it would affect my normal internet possebilities. ;) So I don't feel like putting it out in all to public.
