They presented the new Koenigsegg in this weeks Top Gear motor show. The Stig reckoned to be able  to beat the top time with the Koenigsegg... and... stuffed into a tyre wall. Thankfully, the car only suffered minor damage. Apparently, the back of car lifts under speed. Koenigsegg promised to bring it back to the track with a rear wing bolted on which should help to keep it on the ground. I guess there will be a TG follow up.

It sounds like you get Top Gear a few weeks / months behind us, Hansgerd.

Yes, the car went back for a rear wing to be fitted; and yes, it was a lot faster around the circuit.

Bugger, I've spoiled the happy ending  ::)

Really Steve ? That broadcast was just last weekend on BBC World. When was it on UK TV ?

The last episode of the current series (delayed due to the world cup) was a week last Sunday (30th July)

Don't think I'd have one, didn't like the look of the gear stick !
