Title: 2006 T Shirt Disaster Post by: RS2 Babe on September 11, 2006, 07:56:04 pm :-* :-* :-*
Some of you may or may not remember that I said I was going to the Leeds Festival this year - well I did go and stupidly took my CA 2006 T-shirt. Needless to say - I crowd surfed (to The Kooks) and inevitably mud surfed (Franz Ferdinand I think) and despite my best efforts I cannot seem to be able to remove the Leeds mud ingrained on my beloved CA T-shirt :'( I feel silly for exposing the T-shirt to such extremes and wondered if anybody had a spare to donate/sell. I have tried that oxy stuff even to no avail. The DfH shirt faired a slightly better thankfully. Help, please :-* Lisa Title: Re: 2006 T Shirt Disaster Post by: Snoring Rhino on September 12, 2006, 12:13:50 am Sorry Lisa, Dont think you could afford mine ;D
Seriously, you wouldnt need to worry about the stains at Le Mans, no different to anybody else's by Saturday, I think we should have a "who wore their CA shirt the longest" or "who's shirt is dirtiest" competition just so that you feel ok about yours. Title: Re: 2006 T Shirt Disaster Post by: Paddy_NL on September 12, 2006, 03:25:02 pm Could sombody please translate ::) meer zat er niet in --> there was no more leftaaah, nog éééén rondje? --> ah, one more lap please? Both (for Holland well known) phrases from Jos Verstappen. First one is what he always said in F1 when he ended up 19th on the grid again, second one was from a Chello radio commercial, the link to this commercial is here (realplayer only) http://www.radionieuws.nl/streams/0Chello.ram Some of us might go to the pitlane with guys of RfH, I'm looking forward to Jos' first reaction to the shirt ;D Title: Re: 2006 T Shirt Disaster Post by: Paddy_NL on September 12, 2006, 03:28:54 pm http://www.drinkingforholland.com/Paddy/zandvoort351.jpg Hahaha... this one's the best so far.
