Hi all
A couple of newbies heading down to Le Mans for 2007, which of the above 2 sites would you pick.
Do we need bikes for both/either of them ?
Planning to arrive Thursday and leave Monday
All advice welcome
Thanks

Bleu for me! ;D
Bleu is a bit more conveniently placed for access to main areas of track/grandstands. I have never camped at Beausejour, but its quite close to the Porsche Curves viewing areas I think.
Dont need bikes particularly for Bleu, tho they can be handy anway for getting to supermarket and out to other parts of circuit when the (car) traffic is busy. I reckon you would certainly benefit from bikes at Beausejour.
I like Bleu best, but thats just personal - some of the regulars here camp on Beausejour and can probably let you know more about it. I think space is easier on Beausejour if you are arriving on Thursday, certainly Bleu was pretty full by Thursday morning this year.
These are the two easier campsite to get tickets for, but dont leave it too long before booking if you want to be sure. Dont buy through ticket agencies either, thats an expensive rookie mistake!
I am sure others will add to this but hope you have a great time for your first visit wherever you end up.

Isnt it something to do with the 5 p's.... tho I cant remember what they are...

Thanks folks, I had already made a booking at beausejour, but in my own mind was thinking Bleu would be a better option, therefore I've changed it today.
Don't really want to take Bikes, as I don't want them slung off the back of the car on the way down, neither do I want to have keep an eye on them throughout the weekend, knowing my luck I'd forget where I parked the things anyway :)
I'm sure I will be back with other question nearer the time
Thanks

Stop , Stop , Stop
Don't tell anyone else how good Bleu is , otherwise it will be full before I get there!
It really is just flat and featureless and blighted by the loonies on the main road!
