Holy cow. My forum has gone all new and fangled.
-
I need to get used to it a bit, but it will do :)
-
Hmm interesting....I think I might need to have my eyes tested!!
My view seems to be telling me that I've been looged in for 9 days, 8 hours and 43 minutes - tell me that's not evidence of how much of my life I waste on the internet ;D
-
shock horror! :o it's suddenly like being on a 'normal' forum :-\
-
Like the new layout, reminds of our own forum.
-
So much for your avatar though, knetter :-\
Speaking of which, can we have some info regarding avatars please Gentlemen Moderators?
(maximum whith etcetera...)

If it worries you, click the minus sign just after the date/time (top right) and it hides this info.
I've been on this layout for some time now - you soon get used to it - and it all works, including the 'new' button.
Edit: Pity really - before, I was one of 11, now I'm one of 2159. Still, something to be said for anonymity. :-\

Just changed mine to the new version today and there you all are following me down the road.
I just wanted to be one of a dozen or so, even if only for a while.
BANG GOES UNIQUEIOSITY
;D
I think Steve said the avatars have to be limited to 150 pixels wide, was that right?
Still wont help me show pictures off my hard drive though will it? ???

-
Well I clicked the "-" thing and its almost back to normal, and the avatars have returned. I'll check mines there now
-
Gone back to the old format, new one makes my eyes hurt.
-
Don't mind the new one apart from the scrolly avatars. How about installing the SMFArcade feature for a bit of fun.

Just come in from the pub, whats going on??
-
What's new, am I in a time warp? Isn't this the same as we changed to a month ago?
>Martini...
-
Changed it back to the old layout :-\
-
me too.. prefer this one (the old one ;))
-
Changed it back? Philistines, Dinosaurs, all of you. It's called progress, move on. We are in the 21st century not the dark ages, exept for Slough that is.
I changed to it a week ago and after a couple of days I got used to it and know I prefer it to the old style
-
It's called progress, move on.
The old one is clearer with different colors for the topics. Besides, I visit enough forums and like the look of the old version of this forum.
-
I quite like the new layout, was a little bit of a shock when I first saw it though!
-
I like the look of the new forum, although I have to say I don't like the last reply on top at all. Personally, I like to read the whole string and with this set up, you have to read backwards. If you want to know why I don't visit as much as I used to (if you had noticed at all ;D), this is the reason.

You can change this back in your Layout preferences Peiter. Uncheck the box that says show most recent posts first.

Luddite - A Luddite is a person who fears or loathes technology, especially new forms of technology that threaten existing jobs. During the Industrial Revolution, textile workers in England who claimed to be following the example of a man named Ned Ludd destroyed factory equipment to protest changes in the workplace brought about by labor-saving technology. The term Luddite is derived from Ludd's surname. Today, the term Luddite is reserved for a person who regards technology as causing more harm than good in society, and who behaves accordingly.

It's the same layout as Sebring Fans, and the same changes and setting can be made here as there.
As Termie said, to change the order of posts, go to your Profile / Look and Layout Preferences. Uncheck the box that says 'show most recent posts first'.

So we should all drink euro lager, because the it is produced by superior modern tecknology? ;)
Still like traditionally brewed bitter, Leffe, Trois Monts, Budvar, Jenlain and all those other dinosaur old fashioned beers. ;D
-
I Like it the new look and the most recent postings are still at the bottom of the page.
Ah, for the good old days and washing clothes by hand.

Mix 'n' Match is my motto, keep what you like, take on board what you like. :)

That is the easy part!!
