Title: Camping Tickets on Ebay
Post by: DelBoy on May 25, 2007, 08:20:20 pm
Old thread deleted.

fagey has donated his spare HA ticket to be auctioned on ebay - proceeds after costs to got to charity.

see:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=012&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=220115154248&rd=1&rd=1

Rusty (The brethren) has 4 spare MB tickets to be sold the same way.  Ill put them up when I have photos.

Please, please:

- Do not 'watch' these items unless you are going to bid - this will give me a better feel for the interest in the auctions

- Do not post any suggestions or comments on here - pm them to me.

Whoever it is, doesn't look like he's going to make money. 30 Mins to go and still only 1 bid at face value.

Auction closed with only the one bid of £55.

Strange really - one HA ticket goes for £117, one MB for £55.  Must be the 'I'd better try HA before it closes' syndrome   ;) ;)

Only joking Bob.

AS camping-pass selling has slowed up considerably (just like last year IIRC), Rusty and I have agreed that of his four MB tickets, I have put 2 on ebay, and he has put 2 on CA.  The ebay ones are at:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=012&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=220116406875&rd=1&rd=1

Again, please do not 'watch' these items.

I've put the tickets on my watch list because i seriously need a good camping pass soon, and so far have'nt had any luck getting one through the CA forum.
Cheers Phil B

(Looking forward to my first of many Le Mans)

I know Brittany Ferries are expensive but this is ridiculous. By my reckoning the face value quoted makes the return ferry £700  :o
