I was just been speaking with Liz Halliday, and I have just had a call to say can I get to LM and take pictures sadly no! Too much work here in SUNNY Bristol... and Piglet is making me work. while she drinks beer and watches LM and Moto GP and WTCC....... Its a hard life but I guess somebody has to do it...

 hopefully tis only the one run by BMS in the FIA GT2 thats custard yellow,surely DAVE wouldnt run ones like that,,,,,,,,,,

I also saw a 009 Aston, which was without the custard yellow. So looks like they want to be able to spot from a distance whether it's one of the Prodrives passing by, or the BMS.

It's the BMS one that always runs in those colours in the FIA GT championship,  apart form the roof that is, which I think is a vain attempt at a reflective roof to keep the temps down to the regulation level.  AMR's cars have white roof's.

I assume you're referring to the Astons.
The 'works' team are still using 007 / 009.  There are a handfull of others also in GT1.

It's been there for about 8 years (?). It's the indoor stadium at Antares.

Yes I do mean the Aston team, I just could not see 009 on the pictures and so assumed they had changed the numbers again.
Hubby panicked thinking he would have to buy me more models!...lol

It looks like a five year old kid has been let loose on the original car's (stunning)paintwork with a role of that horrid yellow tape they use to wrap new Pirelli tires. Surely everyone can tell it's tacky transfers on top of an original piece of genius. What if they did this to the '59 Le Mans winning car?  ???

I think the yellow works really well with the green. The banner emphasises the clear lines, the soft curves are hardened up making it look altogether tougher, more up for the task ahead. This is the livery of a winner. Mark my words, it will make all the difference come the glorious day. (well you did ask)  ;D

Who cares about the stripe - how much money were they throwing at it?  Were the mechanics sliding on caviar, and tripping over chamagne bottles?

Yup.  If you stand in the right spot, it's now a great place for pics.  All the pics (in the link above) with the freshly-painted curbs were taken from there.
