Sorry to go off topic here, but has anyone seen the logo for the 2012 Olympic. It is worth a look. When you have seen it, you might want to go here to post your complaints

Once again I am shamed by my industry and on behalf of all the good people of the UK I, as a graphic designer apologies unreservedly for this ................monster!!!!! I think I am going to pack this job in. If this acceptable work, then I don't want to know anymore.

Mmm, both look like they were done by a 5 year old.
Total pony.

Done.
How awful - and what is the dot in the middle. If its supposed to be a "2012" man crouching, then he's got his todger out

"It has a movement to it and it will evolve and change," a London 2012 spokeswoman said
Well so do most things that go down the bog and thats where this should be
Olympics Minister Tessa Jowell said: "This is an iconic brand that sums up what London 2012 is all about - an inclusive, welcoming and diverse Games that involves the whole country.
"It takes our values to the world beyond our shores, acting both as an invitation and an inspiration What the hell is she talking about, can anyone help me to understand how that comes out of an over graphiced???? candy floss

I thought it was some sort of crap image of a runner, I didn't even see the 2012 until someone pointed it out.
It's an outrage, I wonder how many ethnic gay and lesbian societies have been denied lottery funding to pay for this.

No Lorry, the man is standing up with his todger out. And to my eyes at least, there appears to be a bird on her knees noshing him off....
Just what are they trying to say about London 2012? ???
-
Does this bring back any memories. Looks as though it was done by the same person.
Today Is Saturday Watch And Smile. Children of all ages tuned in in their millions to this ground-breaking show. There have been many poor imitations since (haven't there, Noel?), but this was the best kids show of the Seventies

Or another man with his back to 'Mr 2012'
-
Yes, saw the logo on the BBC - would love to know what substance the designers were smoking, or, even better, what Seb Coe and his cronies had been taking when they approved such a monster ...

I'm sure it's that Tessa Jowell giving trhat pratt Clayborn a bit of H

Good God Steve, you're right! Please tell me kneeling man is not giving standing man a good old "rusty tromboning"??? :o

Eff knows how much they paid for that.
To think it from the same City that gave us the UndergrounD map. For which Beck was paid a few quid.
What is the country coming to?

My nether regions radar has just illuminated the "todger" light...
Oo-er, it is a bit of a dogs dinner isn't it? It is appropriate though, it reminds me of a load of household appliances stacked up in a pikies yard, which sort of sums up Stratford if you ask me.
By co-incidence I almost ran into Seb Coe the other week, on my bike. I forget what manor he's Lord of, but it was round those parts, and he was out in the country lanes on a Sunday morning run, missed him by inches I did. (and then had to shout, "kinnell! that was Seb Coe that was!" as my evasive action took me towards a hedge). I can't confirm whether or not he had his todger out, but he had a fairly brief pair of shorts on, and I'd say that if he took a tight left hander, then the old fellow might have made an appearance.

It's the ole' 'Lunchbox' problem again!

Forget 2012, 1998 was a good year for "Munch the Trunch" videos
-
The best description I've heard is that looks like Lisa Simpson performing an act on Bart which sisters aren't supposed to.

Fisherman, you've been looking at that 'toon website again, haven't you.

Apparently there is a hidden message in the new 2012 logo. See if you can find it.

'SH1T' I believe.

Looks like a broken commemerative plate to me.
Just back from Paris this afternoon and the French, and who can blame them, are already taking the pi*s out of 'us' over this!
-
And now the promotional video has been removed from the official website because it has caused a number of people to suffer epileptic fits... Astonishing. Apparrently nobody bothered to check the frequency of the flashing images and guess what... it contravenes government guidelines for health and safety ???
-
Seeing the news, it seems they've already had to pull the animated video version off their website because of the danger of it triggering epileptic fits - what on earth were they thinking of with this cr*p? and if others are taking the p*ss, then it really is all rather a stunning own goal methinks.....

If thats the logo, can't wait to see the cuddly toy to go with it........
The mind boggles at what that could be - Perhaps a nice cuddly razor wire teddy?

Here it is.

This year i have to admit to mostly camping in loads 'a' Burberry - matching tent, wellies, sleeping bag, bikini (oh, hang on - bit scary that thought ;D) and my Thai Green curry (trusting I remeber to make it this year) will have a Burberry theme.
