We've just managed to dry the canvas tent out and pack it away, we currently have the kitchen, dayroom and shower tents hanging from the carport drying out!
I don't really mind a wet LM but it would have been nice to get the gear packed away dry :(
How's everyone else doing?

Had a nice week here in Newcastle ,had the tent and sleeping bag out in the sun on wednesday, and watched it dry with a beer in may hand, lovely.
-
And now its pi**ing it down again in Newcastle- cheers Stu!
Managed to get packed up early on Sunday morning and missed the rain by minutes. Have not unloaded the van yet- cannot face it yet.

Hi Piglet,
Luckily we managed to pack everything away on a dry Sunday Morning.
But I'm having big trouble trying to dry myself out internally, pass another wine please.

I can offer a rather sick mis-firing SAAB V4 and a cammy MG if your stuck. Not quite as nice as Judd and a vette but better than those bloody oil burners!

Dried my own tent out on Monday evening. Had to drive 280 mile round trip on Tues eve to fetch our big old canvas frame tent to get it dried out sharpish. (no room in the midget to bring that back (!)

Just have to say another big thanks to Neil NoPanick for picking up the pop up tents from Decathlon, every body was so impressed that anothet two appeared on our site and much hated tent dispeared. All were totally water proof (except for one plonker who managed to leave his zip open - thank goodness for my tesco special blow up matress!) Although I was the only one who mastered folding them down! any how pinged them open again on Tuesday just to give them an airing and ready for the next adventure - maybe Sebring........................

Well I'm all dried out. But not packed away. I put the tent up again in the garder to dry it out. But it rained before I had chance to pack it so it's still hanging in the garage. May be next weekend. >:(

Did not bring tent back toi dry as the zip on the outer canvas went, so I left it for the pickies.
Still have a few bits to pack away, or maybe put the all together ready for 2008.
I hate packing away after LM :'(

Have not had the time to dry out my tent yet, straight from LM to the hospital and now it wont stop raining >:(

All tents dried out and ready for Spa.
My liver and skin were recovering well until I spent the weekend in Hyde Park watching various bands and musicians do their thing. Bloody Crowded House!!! I'll give Neil Finn more than four seasons in one day if I ever catch up with him!

To be fair they were actually very good. It just so happened that Neil had finished singing said ditty when the heavens opened and we all got soaked to the skin.
Mind you the puddle fight we had was awesome! ;D

Hi, Thanks for the kind posts.
It turns out that on my last day at le-mans, i suffered a small stroke causeing me to lose some movement control on my left side, all has returned to normal now, just have to have a few more tests to see if they can figure out what caused it.
But at least im out of hospital now. The down side is that i cant drive for 3 months which is going to be a pain in the arse. Looks like ill have to take a leaf out of Big Hs book and get on my Bike.

Nick, really sorry to hear that, at least it sounds like you're getting good care. I hope they work out what the problem is and you make a full recovery. Look after yourself :-*

Here's to a full recovery Nick (for you and the Scimitar!) Look after yourself and take it easy.

I've only just got around to pitching the tent in the garden to dry out (not so much from the rain but from the snoring condensation inside!)
Hope the weather behaves today - it is the end of June after all ::)

We packed up early whilst everything was still nice and dry. Finally found an hour this morning to unpack the van. Got everything out and into piles to be put away for another year and the heavens opened! The whole lot is soaked. Oh well- as long as it dries in time for Silverstone:-)
