Title: Help me please
Post by: sh4rpsh00ter on July 31, 2007, 08:06:06 pm: Please can anyone help me. I'm looking for the name of the artist (I think it begins with an 'E') who has a stand in the main part of the Village.

He's been there for the last 3 years i've been.

I'm looking to buy a original / print as a gift for a friend, so time is short and would appreciate any help.

Post by: Piglet on July 31, 2007, 09:04:30 pm: It doesn't begin with E but we have a number of prints from Francois Bruere who is I think the ACO's official artist. He specialises in a type of sepia with flashes of colour.

There are some pictures here http://www.autotrend.com/franall.html he has his own website but I can't find it.

The guy's stand this year the lads reckon (who can't remember his name either!!!) was down from the Grand Marnier stand. He also had a book of all his work on display?!?!?! If that helps??

Post by: Catchpole on August 01, 2007, 01:02:27 am: this might all sound a bit too obvious, BUT, if you know he was a few stands from the crepe shop, can you not look in the ACO village map and get his name from that? Or is that too simple?
