Too true about F1 drivers.
I've always liked the Mk1 Cortina. My dad had one in blue with a 1500 Corsair (I think) engine in it, I can even remember the reg - KRM 569.

Oh, I loved them. It's still a fantasy car for me. It's one of the things which confirms the standard of the drivers in those days. The fact that JC could win a gp and a saloon car race (sometimes on the same day!) spoke volumes for his ability. And Mr Chapman's of course....
