				ACO rule changes for 2008
“…in order to close the gap between the performances of the LM P1 petrol-engined prototypes and those of the diesel-powered cars .... and endeavour to maintain a constant and visible level of suspense throughout the race, the following rule changes/technical adjustments have been introduced…” 
Two technical adjustments will be made for the 2008 season:
The minimum weight of the LMP1 cars is fixed at 900 kgs.
The surface of the air restrictors fitted to petrol-engined cars will benefit from a 3% increase.

Just 3% eh, based on time to finish, distance covered etc, 5% would me more appropriate. THEN THERE WOULD BE A RACE.

I suspect it will not make too much difference to the end result.
No doubt Audi will have something in reserve, and Pug are still developing.
