As well as the 2003 programs and posters for sale on aBay, someones selling his collection of used tickets. I'm going to put the steam of my shite on there one day and see how much I get.

Stupid thing is that people are actually bidding on these items.
I found a Corvette baseball cap @ £31, one of those free ACO Bentley posters £5 and to top it off a Club Courage Competition Pass Holder for £6.99 and the seller has put in his description "if you are going out to Le Mans next week you will surely look the business with this great old ticket holder!" I guess you'll look lonely and stupid ;). No idea what these items will finish at, just can't believe the people bidding on them!

Someone sold a jar of New York snow once ( no guarentee that it would not have melted by the time it reached its destination. A student fom up here sold his soul for around £45 to someone in the states who lost his in an ice hockey game bet.

Well kicked off the "Le Mans 2006 (my 25th!!) in a Westfield ELEVEN fund" this week by putting the MB MegaMin up for auction (currently on its way to the US if no-one else comes in above) and will be following on shortly with all sorts of LM memorabilia (including old tickets!!) to finance aformentioned purchase.
OK, yes I probably would sell certain relatives .. means to an end and all that!! Pride? Self esteem? What are they when Le Mans is involved?

Hi,
Whilst searching ebay to see if anyone was selling a model of the winning bentley yet, I came across a guy in Cumbria selling one of those free paper "Team Bentley" hand held flags that they were giving out at the team hospitality unit. Hes got a bid for £5 on it !
Hes also asking for £6 bid on a copy of the free poster of the Bentley that came free with the Le Maine newspaper on the Saturday morning.

And somebody (might be same as cheapo Bentley flag person - can't remember) is flogging this year's tickets and contremarques. It was different when the entrance tickets were mini event posters, I stopped saving mine when that stopped happening.
Any one for some genuine Le Mans grass found when unpacking my tent? ;D Still got some French flies on the nose of the Pug (recalcitrant bleeders!) in case of interest to someone!

I picked up a nasty skin rash which I'm happy to swap you for that grass... you can keep the flies though, you may be able to revive them by letting them feed on the rash... ;D

A good photo Andy, I'm a little worried about your brother though. Does his head go all the way to the top of his cap? (it could be that the cap/head got flatter as the weekend progressed?)
Whilst on about dodgy photos, we had a few taken in the Antares building by the press.
After crashing into this posh do, and listening to a few speeches, the President of the ACO thought I was naturally worth a handshake and a photo. Out of pic, on the right was the Mayor of Le Mans, gossiping about goats and a colleague in Alencon. I'll treasure my copy forever.
As soon as I raised the subject of viewing areas and camping facilities with the president, two gorillas grabbed me by the arms and frogmarched into a dank basement, where I was plied with champagne, canapes, soft toilet roll and grilled by some stooges under a naked bulb about a dark green Comma, booze crazed Brits and a slightly superior 'official poster'.
It's a few weeks ago now, my fingernails have started to grow back and the prosthetic ear doesn't half look bad. Although in my opinion, not shared by the surgeon, is that it would look better on my head.

Good to hear from you, although I expect you'll have trouble hearing anything else again, what with your ear problems etc. I expect you look like that mouse on the telly a few years ago. The one where a mad scientist grew a big human ear on it's back. Maybe you should have had a donkeys ear grafted on for comic effect. Then we could call you BottomH.
Will you be posting your photo of you pressing the flesh with Pres Cossin of the ACO? I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we would all like to see it.
Finally my brothers head remains a total no go area for me. I think it does for him too. I'll get him a policemans helmet next year.
