It's possible that some of you might not entirely agree with these views, but when I got the email from an American lobby group, I thought it might be fun to join.
Make a statement to the global warming alarmists who want to make us feel guilty for just about everything we do.
Join Carbon Belch Day -- when thousands of people are joining together to increase their carbon footprint for this one day to make a statement to the Climate Alarmists.
There's a nifty "Belch Calculator" to help you calculate your "carbon belch" for this special day:
http://www.carbonbelchday.com/calculator.asp?PID=16628372
Or, go here to take the Carbon Belch Day Pledge:
http://www.carbonbelchday.com/109/pledge.asp?PID=16628372&NID=1
Anyone driving a Toyota Prius is not elligible - in fact, if you do own one you should not be in my address book.

Here's a start to get the tree huggers worried
Your Carbon Belch: Your one-day Carbon Belch has been calculated at: 96 pounds of CO2.
Nice job! (The average American's belch is 41 pounds.)
Thanks to you, we have calculated a cumulative total of 4325048 pounds of CO2 set to be released on Carbon Belch Day
-
This one will really frighten the tree huggers >:D

Filled in the questionnaire before reading what day it was on. :o

-
Did you add in BBQ and bonfires by any chance ?
Your one-day Carbon Belch has been calculated at: 734 pounds of CO2.
Nice job! (The average American's belch is 41 pounds.)
That takes in the trip to Le Mans, BBQ etc etc. HOORAY >:D

Certainly did. 710lbs of CO2 for me.
Maybe I need to drink more ;D
-
Bit of a light-weigh for me:

Some of you know my mate Andy, he came to LM and Sebring last year and he's with us again this time. Without trying to top the efforts above, he totally dwarfs you lot.
No, I'm not refering to his Aston or indeed to the Dax Cobra 5.7 small block V8 with Nitrous Oxide options. Or the fact that his central heating seems to be running 365 days of the year and his hot water system fetches the skin off your hands. In fact he's a pilot and tonight he's flying an Airbus A340 back to London from Shanghai. So that'll be burning kerosene at the rate of 5 tons per hour for 13 hours. And he did the same on tuesday on the way out. :D He said he'd stick the landing gear down at 3000ft on approach, as at that hight the drag will need to burn about an extra ton or so. Get in!! 145,600 pounds carbon in a day. Biff! Take that you f**k*ng tree hugging, controlling, lying, cheating green eco-bastards :D

Your one-day Carbon Belch has been calculated at: 715 pounds of CO2.
Nice job! (The average American's belch is 41 pounds.)
That is including 20 12 oz cans of beer and a bbq for 30 people ;D
-
Your one-day Carbon Belch has been calculated at: 948 pounds of CO2.
Don't you just love a old 6.6 litre V8 ;D
-
802 lbs mainly due to the fact I'm flying to Rennes (for LM of course) that day from dublin.
-
It's the other end that produces more CO2 IRC. But can't find a similar organisation relating to F***s.
However it is more aromatically 'uncomfortable' to the populus around you!!!
-
Good Gracious - mine is a stout 4569lbs, bolstered by my trans-atlantic flight (and the four stogies, of course). Thankfully, I won't be mowing the lawn that day, or stringing up Xmas lights (huh?) - otherwise, who knows what it might have been...
-
OK so I thought my 1431 was over doing it a bit, oh well will try harder on the day.
-
I got 6849. May have lied about the flying bit but 100 miles more than covers all the helicopters over LM.
Be Green... smoke rubber in a massive engined fuel guzzling tyre squealing car. Recycle your beer cans and milk cartons.... just like Australia ::)
