Can you confirm something,
Does Bda stand for
a) British Dental Association
2) British Dyslexia Association ( which I thought was DNA)
I thought notice was Dba (noice) and symbol for less was >
May be what does he know, he's only Albert Einstein.
There again, is only relative! ;D

As the Audi is bloody quiet, the noise is 'less than'.
Therefore '<' before the next part equals 'less than'. It's pointing backwards.
The 'greater than' symbol '>' should be placed before that symbol, it should IIRC. I have seen it placed after, particulary within the IT industry.
Luckily, old Einstein never knew the Audi.

Belt Drive A series was what I always thought BDA stood for. ???

Err. ???
I thought you were making a reference to a diesel = less noise.......no?
So noise is measured in dB, and the point of reference is human perception of noise, therefore it is the A weighted scale.
Or have a missed something in the original pun?

When it is to do with noise - dB (A) Decibels (A weighted scale) is the term used
In motorsport - dB (A) dead boring (Audi) NO NOISE
