I'll be there from Saturday morning on.

@ Smokie: Do you have the camping sorted or need help to do that ?

I just saw your PM. That's sorted, then. See you next week.

I'll be there, I just don't know yet if I'm arriving Saturday or Sundaymorning.
Might be interesting to arrive on Saturday to drive a few laps on the Norschleife.

Team LeMansZone will be there - 6 people - but only on race day. We'll watch the start at the first curve after the start-finish-straight - Tribune 4

Hope to meet some of you

Cheers

Werner

I'll be there from Sunday morning too, Friday/Saturday we'll be doing the WRC thing around Trier.

Is Tribune 4 the Mercedes grandstand in the first turn, if so that's where we should end up too.

Grand stand 4 is at the start/finish line on the outside of the circuit.

Don't you have to be associated with Mercedes somehow or know someone associated with Mercedes to get thier grandstand?  ...or did I hear that wrong?

Don't think so, went to the 1000Km a few years ago and with the start we sat on the Mercedes grandstand.

At the start I'll probably be at the Mercedes Grandstand, afterwards walking 'round the track.  If you see someone with a 300mm Canon lens with Le Mans and Sebring stickers on the hood, it's me ...

Amazing pictures... how did you do the panning shots at the Ford corner ? I tried it there for about ten minutes but got the fence on every picture.

I used a 70-200 with 1,4 convertor, and tried several spots (close to the fence or within a small distance).  I also had some pictures with the fence in them, but most didn't.  It also depends on your shutterspeed; if set it to 1/200 of lower you shouldn't have much fence in your pictures.
