Beginning to write an introducing guide about the annual pilgrimage, I wanna know what would you look for as information/adresses/tips/... to prepare your trip and make it smarter/clever/longer/cheaper/funnier/more naughty/... ??
First publication is planned in early november....

Well you can start by finding some girlie bars which might be open, unlike those you left Mark and myself near this year. (Purely in the interests of International Relations, you understand - and Mark was gonna pay too!)

It was my first trip this year, and we found the lack of signposts very frustrating. Finding the circuit was not too bad (only one sign post on all tha aprroaching autoroutes) but finding the campsite was pure luck.
Not sure what you can do about that, except to convince the local authorities to put up more signs 8)

The reason there are too few signs is because most of them are now proudly placed on the inner walls of many garages around Europe!

Knew there had to be a good reason

Not that I have partaken of such action of course!!! But I have seen many a souvenir in the rear window of cars on the way back up to port!

What shocking behaviour on behalf of well behaved, sober, race fans ::)
-
I have to admit that the inside of my garage is adorned with various banners 'borrowed' from the drivers parade with 'Chevrolet Racing', 'Total', 'Cadillac' and similar. ;)
-
So the parade is worth going to see
