Maybe, maybe not, ACO got it more often right than wrong with my allocations.
if not I'll happily move to plan B or C, it's all part of the Le Mans build-up, at least that's how I take it ;)
-
Why not Kev ? I will probably be on the look out for a passenger again if you are interested.

FFS... what excuse is it this time ;D
Sure we could fit you in in the plans.....

That's good news Powermite, sounds like the Magic List is up and running....good luck guys ;D
-
Then I also hope to hear soon from the agency!

As of May i have to support myself as parents will be in france for 6 months. No money spare for a holiday :(
-
Then join your parents, then you're already halfway there anyway!!!

Tough life having to support oneself isn't it ::) didn't you do this drama queen routine last year?

Ouochh.
Well it worked like a charm last year so I guess Kev thought why not try it again this year.

i know but i have other important things to concentrate on, Lemans is having to take a back seat this year

no im not going and the spiralling costs have confirmed my answer

I received email notification from the ACO confirming my request for Houx camping passes :)
-
But did you actually get your allocation, or just a confirmation of the request, everyone else had those some time ago?
-
Confirmed all my allocation of Houx, by email & telephone this morning. Did ask for Maison Blanche but they're all sold out!
-
congratulations! Well, if MB is all sold out, then at least they have started allocating those spots as well, so soon everyone should know where he/ she will be! Some news at last.
-
I received email notification from the ACO confirming my request for Houx camping passes :)
Do you think you are Magic List? Have you ordered for years and years and never had any problems?
I wonder if they are not onto the great unwashed or still on the Magic Listers?
Smokie - have you had anything?
-
YES, YES, YES, now that's a good start to 2009, I received my allocation from the ACO today and...
8x Campsite Houx (2nd choice though after MB)
10x Tribune Lagache T19
So I guess we're moving up from Houx-Annexe this year. ;)
Thank you ACO and thank you Termie for getting my bookings in at PQ :D
I hope the rest of you get what you requested too.
-
Do they notify via email as well as post?
-
Allocation received....4x MB camp tickets as usual :)
Some of us have booked our ferry too, leaving Dover on P&O 05:55 crossing on the Wednesday. I'm sure we'll see plenty of others on there heading to Le Mans.
We might be on the 'Magic List'. Been ordering these tickets for years and not had a problem with allocation yet :-X
Good luck to all those who've not heard yet, roll on June.
- note to self...must finish putting car back together in time.
-
Do they notify via email as well as post?
Hmmm although I do e-mail the ACO about changes, they've always sent my allocation by mail.
-
Smokie - have you had anything?
I didn't apply for anything this year...as attendance is unlikely :-\
-
I'm not going to be making it this year either. Mind you, I haven't received any allocation letters yet, so maybe the ACO are ahead of me. This will be the first no-show in 22 years, it's all going to feel a bit strange. The no show, that is.

We've been offered nothing, reserved nothing and frankly I feel i might as well do nothing. Then see what happens. Nothing probably. Something will always turn up, as Mister McCorber (my old English teacher) used to say. That's what I used to say about the Grattons catalogue too, but I hear they've gone bust so what am i going to do now? :(
It's funny how it always used to fall open on exactly the right page.

Is it just me or is there going to be a lot more than a few regular race teams missing this year?
There seems to be a lot of regulars from here giving it a miss ???
-
Mike, think that you are right, will start a thread I am not attending this year :(
-
Just received mine and guess what the camping is not at all what I asked for. (BSJ)
However, The Stand seats are fine. If anyone wants a Legache I have some spare. :-)

Correct.

I faxed off an application for camping in late June last year (too late probably :'( ) should I start panicking if I haven't heard anything yet?
If it doesn't come through anyone with a spare for Expo or anywhere up that end want to pass it on it would receive a good home ;)

No real need to panic but do keep looking for decent alternatives. I'm not sure what the Expo position is and whehter it's likely to be over subscribed.
For those tha asked for MB and BN, I would imagine Tom's experience shows what the rest of us will get (I've got an order in anyway even though we're not going).
This is soooo why we're not going this year. Fingers crossed it all works out for everyone.
-
Ours arrived while I was away, BSJ was the awful truth that those w**k*rs offered up. I even thought I'd been careful about the choices which were HA, MB, BN and Expo as a last resort, and thats what we got, just f**k*ng brilliant.
Not sure what to do now as Rex has sourced some KN, but the price that the robbing bastards want is just shy of £4000 including a compulsory 30 GE @ £72 each !!!!!
I am so pissed off I am almost thinking of blowing it out completely.

Those nice people at the PO have just delivered my allocation from those nice people at the ACO - got just what I ordered. ;D
Houx and Lagache
Actually, the letter says Houx Non Num - I thought Houx was all numbered ??? ??? Any Houx experts out there?? It has been 17 years since I was last on Houx, so things might have changed a tad since then.
Edit: Just noticed also that they have allocated me 8 Houx tickets (what I ordered) - all at ACO member's price - so I'm feeling quite chuffed. ;) ;)

-
My view last year was that they were trying to get all of the groups onto BSJ.
This is exactly why we're not going...I hate the idea of paying the agencies vast amounts of money for something I used to be able to get myself. The killers with the agencies is the "2 GA's for each camping spot" that most apply. The plots are too small for this, we need two plots for just the two of us but we don't need 4 over priced GA's to go with it.

I think Houx non num appeared for the first time last year although there was suggestion that it had existed for longer. Apparently there is a kind of overflow area on Houx that is now used. You might want to check whether there is electric there or not.
Well done...how many passes did you order?

8 Houx with Lagache grandstand seems to be the winning combination this year as that was exactly what we ordered and were allocated. :)
Houx Non Num never heard of it also on the Beermountain Houx map all seem to be numbered ???

15 years for the magic list according to the ACO,so that sounds about right.

Just got this email reply in response to my question WTF is Houx Non Num??
Dear Sir,
Don’t worry, there is no difference between the both campsite except the numbers. You will get electricity and water as well and it’s in the same place.
And just to let you know, some of the Houx not numbered are better than some Houx numbered.
Best regards,

We shall see.......whatever, it'll be better than BSJ ;)

Am I the only one that has not their allocation??????????? I'm starting to think that the wife has nicked my ACO letter :(
-
No you are not. In fact, Mr T is being a bit over-optimistic on our behalf! We're certainly coming but may be standing on the terraces and kipping trackside at this rate.
Seriously, bookings are confirmed (or have been in the past) in customer number order. Thus the longer you've been going, the earlier you are put out of your misery.
-
Mine arrived yesterday. Got what we asked for Grandstand (ACO) & parking (Blanc) wise. We don't camp so no problems there, thank god!
Like many of us on here I put my request in on the Monday after the test weekend, as there isn't a test weekend this year when do we put our requests in for 2010? First Monday in June?
-

I've been pondering this question as well.
Debs, any chance of a call to the billetterie some time to get an answer?
Del

Surely it must be in date order, Debs?? Three years ago I emailed my order early, but I had the date in my PC set a month ahead of the actual date - and this was the date they used. I was bumped well down the list both in the allocation (I got BSJ) and in receipt of the allocation letter.
Del
-
We've been booking with the ACO for 20 years and still haven't heard. ???
You're probably right Debs, but you have to allow for the usual chaos and the French Postal system
-
And we French based types always seem to be last! I can't phone anybody from here (although they can phone me) and the office is closed at the weekends. But I'll maybe send them an e-mail next week. Otherwise I'll no doubt pick up 3 tickets from somewhere. I'm still rather hoping that DFH's multiple booking comes off as I don't fancy a long hobble from the campsite to the circuit.
-
It can't be the date as you handed in our booking form together with yours at PQ.
So must be the fact that you're located in France or like you say customer order number, although we've only been ordering with the ACO for 8/9 years now?
-
Deb, I still haven't recieved my offer of tickets either, so you are not the only one from the batch you handed in.
Good to hear that your recovery is progressing well.
-

Don't get your hopes up Deb, could be we get diddly squat! The company still doesn't know how much they will get, and I have seen that Just tickets is already sending out confirmation mails, so by now they should have some sort of an idea if they do or do not get our 80 tickets. My best guess is that the won't get any and we end up with nothing. Like last year, then again, this year with only 12 going so far, we do not need more then 4 to begin with, so we will find some tickets for some campsite somewhere.
Hope you are doing well in the mean time, would be great to see you at a circuit in the near future!!

Only 12, looks like we'll be doing the drinking for Holland then Roy ;)
-
I got mine today and have been offered Beausejour, not what I asked for. Luckily I had sourced HA tickets through an agency.
Does anyone want 4 camping plus 4 GA's for 460.50 euro? I have 2 weeks to accept and pay for them.

That's confirmed so far, should be a bit more, but low key this year, no stage, no bar, no big friday night party (small one of course)
-
we will indeed party, but no stage indeed.
at the moment 12-13, about 7 definately cancelled and some maybe's
so we need to plan low profile, which for me is nice for a change, more time to interact :)
-
F*ck-Sh*t-F*ck - 5 different people in our group had placed campsite bookings last year on race weekend for 5 tickets on places like Expo, MB, BN or HA - and all of us got offered Beausejour today - I'm not in the best mood now >:(
Werner
-
Where the hell have all the BN tickets gone?
Last year's default if you couldn't get MB etc was BN, which is ok, this year it's BSJ. :o
I just wish they would put me out my misery and let me know what I've got.

The chances are that they have all gone to the people who last year where sent packing from MB after many years of using this site, to find that BN was a better site and all have requested the same site for this year.
-
This thread is not good reading with BSJ cropping up too often. Get there late in the week and you could be closer to Mulsanne than the starting line.
-
Looks like MB is completely overrun by the agencies this year, thus, more people need to be dumped in a different campsite. To bad!!

You are not the only that is pi**ed off, we asked for MB and Expo (plus MB with Paddy and the guys) onlt to get BSJ.
If everyone is on BSJ, that would make a good party atmosphere.

This is just another hateful display of total disregard for members of the ACO by those at the top. They have even bumped the LM tourist office in favour of the ticket agencies. I dread the thump of my huge phone bill on the mat at the end of the month after the hours I have spent trying to get us decent pitches, and the idiot prices I have been quoted are just unbelievable.
Considering its my 21st anniversary this June.... I am somewhat pissed at the way things are moving.
However!! we will not be beaten.... never! ;D
Oh, Steve and Andy Zarse survived Skiing. Cheers for the lift back Steve. Hope you like your new sump and its Chelsea's birthday on cam belt saturday.... so a nite out with 21 yr old girlies is on the cards ;)
-
Still nothing for me....we're not planning to attend but I kept the usual order in to make sure I stay in the pecking order.
The usual order of course being me asking for MB or BN and being allocated BSJ ::)
Logically (bad place to start I know...) as it appears they allocate in the order that they like people, is anyone who hasn't had a response to date is going to be left with BSJ?
-
I managed to get HA from these guys. A little expensive for sure and I had to buy 2 GAs with each ticket but we will be on HA and not banished to BSJ. They may have some left if you hurry. Their website says sold out, as it did when I spoke to them, but I phoned them direct and managed to get some. The direct contact number is on the website and they will ensure all CA applicants are on adjacent plots.
Good luck
www.selectmotorracing.com.
-
Bob, I spoke to them as soon as you were sorted for tickets a while ago and they couldn't get any more.
-
Guys
A few of the CA guys contacted us and we did what we could to get a block in HA for the CA group.
We were unsuccessful. This is obviously a pain for you all, but hope we can make up a little.
If you want somewhere to gather and party Friday night, come to the TL site inside the circuit at the Tertre Rouge corner.
We have the usual marquee, music etc and room for you all.
As an alternative also to being split up, the L7Club have a site in Bleu that is under subscribed. It is a little expensive, but you'll all be together and they have all the necessary facilities Marquee, Noise, Private loos/showers, security etc
Maybe we could sort something in advance of 2010.
Hopefully see you in June.
Andy

Don't know how, but we asked for BN and have got BN.....the lottery continues!
MG Mark
-
Quelle surprise....BSJ for us as well ::) I'm so glad we're not going!
I also have 4 Tribune 20 Leonard grandstand tickets at 96 dingbats per ticket so 384 dingbats plus shipping of 16.50 dingbats....if anyone wants them shout ASAP and I'll accept them otherwise I'll not bother with them.
-
Just received the bad news this morning - BSJ. Is this site still not numbered? so any decent places will be gone before we arrive on Thursday morning.
-
Well - BSJ is going to be busy
Got my offer today and guess what ? Got offered BSJ!!!!!!!!!
I mean I did request late, the week after I came back from Le Mans last year.
So couple of question
- In the world of moving down the food chain, as everyone seems to bumped to BSJ, where has everyone from BSJ gone?
- Is the ACO letter printing machine broken? as it seems to be stuck on BSJ print out.
So I shall not accept them and try and soucre else where.
-
There seems to be a bit of a pattern following on from everyone being bumped onto BN last year. So what comes after BSJ for next year then?
-
Arnage :-X
-
In the world of moving down the food chain, as everyone seems to bumped to BSJ, where has everyone from BSJ gone?
Well with 2000 to 2500 pitches gone from HA, MB, Hunaudieres and Technoparc the agencies would probably order the next best campsite which unfortunately is BN. :(
Many of the people on BSJ are folk that order late, so they'll be disppointed later also.
-
............... So what comes after BSJ for next year then?
A marquee and a big telly in Calais lorry park? Wouldn't put it past the ACO at the moment - We got BSJ as well, luckily already sourced some very expensive HA's from an agency.
-
............... So what comes after BSJ for next year then?

Did you use Select motor racing? If you did he says they can put all CAers on adjacent pitches which will help to utilise the space better. My group and Robbo's are next to each other maybe you could ask to be next to us

No, Just Tickets. I've used them for the last three years TBH as it's been getting steadily harder and harder each year to go where I want to .... !
-
For reference my aco customer number is 27000 (ish) and order number received was 155000 (approx) er . So interesting to see if a lower customer number gets what you ordered.

My ref number is in the 13000's, so a lot lower, and was put in at testing weekend, it will be intresting to see what we get, when they get round to offering us some tickets >:(
Although if we do get BN, it might be a bit lonely.
-
I am beginning to get very suspicious about our order, Barry, and what has happened to it. No response from the aco to my e-mail and sadly, unlike past years, I'm not able to nip into the office and chat face to face, nor to phone about my/our order. I know that Bas has heard but I don't exactly remember if his order was with ours or not - much has happened since then!
-
Yes Debs you handed-in our bookings at the PQ weekend, (again thank you very much) and we were allocated Houx (2nd choice).
Client nr 18xxx and booking nr. 153xxx so things donot add up. ???
Better just e-mail the booking office, they are pretty quick these days.
I had to change my booking last week and within a few days my new allocation was in the mail.
-
I think I'll get on the phone tomorrow to try and find out whats happening.
Deb I'll let you know what they say about mine.
-
Thanks both. I'm semi fixed up due to the kindness of other members, but with a duff leg would really prefer aco grandstand and blanc parking if I can get them. The campsite's not so much of a problem for me and I'm happy with what I've managed to scrounge.
-
Just spoken to the ACO, apparently my request is sitting on the system, grandstand seats allocated, waiting for them to allocate the campsite. I won't be getting the letter for at least 2 weeks.
They were unable to tell me what site I would get.
I am looking at it positivley that we haven't, as yet, been allocated BJS.
As our request was one that Deb handed in at testing, if you booked early, but haven't heard, you might br OK.
-
I had a phone call from the ACO last week, the girl said that MB was sold out but I had my BN camping passes and the grandstand seat I asked for. Still not got the letter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. It is just so Bloody frustrating. ???
-
Was getting a tad nervous as had heard zip since submitting application by fax on 10 July so sent an email yesterday.
Lo and behold my postie struggled through the blizzard this morning to deliver letter from ACO postmarked 30-01-09, Arnage as requested, Client # 64xxx, Booking # 1550yy
:)
-
Still waiting for my allocation, dont need the camping ticket whatever they decide to give me but I would like my grandstand ticket >:(
-
I gave up this morning, I just had to ring the ACO to see what has happened to my allocation letter. This to my simple understanding was going to be posted last week. WRONG!!!!. After a conversation with another nice young lady at the ACO, I was told that BN has not even been allocated yet. So the lottery is still on if you have ordered BN passes. Uness you know different
Frustrated as usual ???
Mike
-
I've was told by a couple of agents yesterday that they had just been allocated Bleu Nord.
-
I've was told by a couple of agents yesterday that they had just been allocated Bleu Nord.
That means, either the ACO are lying through their nose, or the agencies, take your pick (no, not your nose!) ;)

"Dear Sir,
No it's not possible, the waiting lists are closed and we have only availability in Beauséjour or Pincenardière.
Yours faithfully."
Is the response that Ive just received from ACO when I asked (by email)if I could be put on a waitlist for BN. I may swap to Pincenardiere just for the hell of it!
It was a quick response though!
-

If you go for Pincenardiere this year, you'll be at the top of the list for that site for next year. Better go for it now you can, next year all the people being bumped from BSJ will end up there ;D That is of course, if the logic holds up!
-
Thanks for that, Barry; I may have panicked too early in which case I may well have double purchased but I prefer that to having nowt. I've been off line for the last 24 hours but now sorted thanks to the hunky Stephane. :P

Does anyone think being an ACO member makes any differance to the allocations these days (except on the tribs)? For the last two years we've got BSJ (and most of the friends I know who are also members) and I'm really wondering what I'm getting for my membership Euro these days?
I've had to buy my layby tickets from agencies to get anywhere near the track for the last 2-3 years and I can get good trib seats through them too (agreed, not the club one though) so I'm starting to wonder if the extra money spent by purchasing through agencies could be re-covered by binning my ACO membership.......
-
I don't know about "these days". I don't think there's ever been a suggestion that you get further up the list by being a member. When I asked the ACO about this the only thing mentioned was the 15 year "magic list". ACO membership just gets you cheaper tickets and entry to members' areas.
When I did my little survey a couple of years ago it was clear that allocations were made in date order according to when they were submitted, and that the letters were sent out in customer number order. But of course, things do change....

"Dear Sir,
No it's not possible, the waiting lists are closed and we have only availability in Beauséjour or Pincenardière.
Yours faithfully."
Is the response that Ive just received from ACO when I asked (by email)if I could be put on a waitlist for BN. I may swap to Pincenardiere just for the hell of it!
It was a quick response though!
If you go for Pincenardiere this year, you'll be at the top of the list for that site for next year. Better go for it now you can, next year all the people being bumped from BSJ will end up there That is of course, if the logic holds up!
Bumped from BSJ , what a dire thought. I've decided to take one of the 105M plots for three cars on BSJ. This has the "benefit" of being in a section near to the entrance of the site. The benefit doesnt come cheap though at 9euro more than 3 standard tickets.

As my computer has chucked a hissy fit and if out of action just now im reduced to using my phone for the internet and as a result i cant see many of the pictures, mainly the map of campsites. Where is BSJ and is it much of a hike to the track?

Entrance is next to the cross road that takes you under the track nr Porsche curves, head past entrance for MB (on left) to the roundabout. Turn left, under the track and BSJ is on your right. Prob 25-35 min walk to the village from there depending where you get pitched.
-
is it much of a hike to the track?
To the track, no. To any facilities, yes (see above!) But as F/S says it can be a nightmare to get in and out of although not such a problem if you have legs.
-
Cheers. I wont need to do too much training for a hike like that, the youngster newbie might be in for a shock though. Still got the fingers crossed for BN though.
-
With any luck we will get sorted Mike.

sorry to add to your woe's Mike, a few years ago chating to a couple of people camped on BSJ, it took them two hours just to get to the campsite entrance from their pitch and then the hike up to the village.
Two hours? They must have been pi$$ed, very very lost, or very very slow. I camped on BSJ several times and as much as it's a big site it's not that big!
Dx
-
They were probably camped in Mulsanne, that should be about two hours, pissed or not!
-
I drove from HA into Arnage last year on Thursday and Sunday and both times it was a nightmare for both drivers and pedestrians outside BSJ. No footpath, only a grass verge so the hikers, a good few of them pissed, had to walk along the road causing the traffic to be held up even more. If the ACO push more and more campers in that direction the least they could do is lay some footpaths to help free up the roads. But then again that is toooo simple ::)

Its round about now that I start wondering if I actually remembered to send in any kind of ticket order - can't find a copy of anything at home! ::)

Everything seems to be 'green' oriented these days :-\
It is because you are a CA Veteran - as is anyone who joined 2005 or before.

They didn't send out confirmations that they had recieved out requests this year Fran.
Suggest you phone them up, if you give them your client number from lasts years invoice they can look it up in about 30 seconds.

We stayed on bsj in 05/06/07. Each time we were in the back field but we took our bikes so could make it to the village in about 15 mins, but this did depend what state we were in! After sampling the excellent hospitality of the dfh party a couple of years ago, we had to walk one of our team members back to bsj as he fell of his bike 3 times in 100 metres ;D
Cycling or walking out of bsj is normally no problem, but driving out is a pain and can take ages.

Its a 10 minute bike ride from HA to BSJ... and obviously a lot less if you are on MB or KN so its not a great issue. We have been to visit my Dad and his crew on BSJ many times in the last few years and even Lady PP managed it without bleating. The return journey is not always as easy.... if the hospital, ity has been good!! ;D

I think you are all worrying about nothing... now there is a statement.
Just join Team LB and it won't matter where you are camped, all you have to do is sit around your camp all day!
Team LB (lazy b'stards) sit and watch then, occasionally, watch and sit...

Right , I've now sent off my acceptance for BSJ (105M @147euro) so I dont want to read any more messages saying how bad its been- 2009 is a new year and its bound to be much better.
Its dead close to the superb Porshe curves and an easy walk to Arnage itself - simply perfect but not many people know that!

You wont find the Zarses on there...
Patience is a virtue ;)

I think I need some off road tyres so I can really improve my carbon imprint.
Any ideas?

Opened at 1.12 this morning. Get a Nationwide credit card before you go this year, they don't charge commission or a % charge for using it abroad and they give you pretty mych interbank rates rather than those measely tourist rates you get at the airport or your bank. Also, if you open a normal account, throw in some cash and get a visa debit card with it you can use it to withdraw from cash machines also at near-interbank and commission/percentage free .... Very useful.

wondering if I actually remembered to send in any kind of ticket order -
Well I emailed them asking when I would hear about my order and got the reply - "Not yet but soon as we had some changes in Bleu Nord".
I suppose that is slightly better than simply being told I have got BSJ!? :-\

Blimey. I thought mine were mudc**ts. I stand corrected.

I spoke to 1st Tickets this morning, who have been able to sort me out with a Bleu Nord pass. Gald it's sorted as I starting to get worried roll on June.

*ffin' typical - got exactly what I asked for. The problem is I panicked too early and was rescued by another member so now have 2 HA No-number and 3 Lagache grandstand tickets going begging. I'll put them on sell or swap shortly but if any regular long-standing types want them then obviously that's preferable. :)
-
Well I dont know whats happened to mine still no offer but I did get an ACO membership reminder this morning.......................97euro for a poster????????? NO thanks >:( Aco membership has no upside for me ie no preferential treatment as far as ticket allocations prob worse than joe bloggs, at least he can get what he asks for from the ticket agents !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now thats not right is it? ???
Defo last year for me :(
-
For anybody still waiting for their allocation, I recieved mine today and was allocated...... Bleu Nord :o
All is not lost.
My booking number is 153,000+, and the tickets were applied for at testing, so bang goes a couple of theories.
It looks like the number after your client number is the processing number, not where you were chronilogically on application.
The ACO moves in mysterious ways, again.
-
My order no is 153725 Barry so that fits as ours went in together. I ordered BN and got BN. See you there then. :)
-
Well, I am order number 154342........and I have been offered Dairon Aire Accueil. >:(
Where the heck is that?

Ahhh - what it is to be on the magic list... (If I had been going this year, it would have been my 13th year, so not yet at magic 15, and I seem to have been on the list for a few years...)
I did not place an order for 2009.
But my allocation has come through!! :) :) :)
6 Bleu Nord at Tarif B (€49 each, €294 total)
4 Bleu Nord at Tarif A (€55 each, €220 total)
6 Enceinte Generale Tarif A (€47 each, €282 total)
€16.50 sending charge
Total invoice €812.50
My number on the front letter is 9xxx/153xxx.
Nice of them to offer me tickets at ACO membership rates when my membership lapsed last year (pre-June).
The oddest thing is that I don't think I took the offer up last year. I certainly sourced my own tickets through the Le Mans travel office, don't remember buying any from the ACO.
Anyway, shout quick (let's say by Wed 18th) if anyone wants any or all of these. I can temporarily fund the purchase on the cc to secure the tickets but would need immediate payment, once I know the actual sterling cost. (I may already have a home for a couple of the cheaper ones)
It's actually made me feel very guilty that I won't be there, and quite envious of those of you who will.
NB Priority will be given to regular Club Arnage members.
Stu has bagged a few of these already, will also post in Swap or Sell
-
My lucky day ! I've pmd smokie and reserved 3 of the BNs and the 6 GAs. Cheers Smokie. After reading the BN thread I was feeling a bit low, so I'll now be where the action is , I'll bring my fire sticks!
-

I see Dairon is located between Beausejour and Pincenardiere, but not shown on the ACO map ???
I think I will be declining their kind offer.
Now to find a plan B........
-
I still have 2 HA tickets going begging, Christopher. I owe you a favour. :)
-
Well I'll be dipped in dog sh*t!
My ACO allocation has just dropped on the mat - 6 x Blue Nord! - however, I've already sourced sufficient tickets for BN from elsewhere.
They've also allocated me 8 x Sommer and 8 x Lagache tribunes.
Customer number - 18*** / 154***

Hello Debs,
Thanks for the offer, but I need a minimum of 5 (possibly 8) camping tickets. So I have resorted to plan B and will be on BN again this year.
-
See you there then. 8)
-
Oh FFS!
Finally got my allocation through (ordered about 8th June or so last year), and I've got 15x BSJ, despite asking for HA/BN/MB.
I emailed and asked if I could change to BN (and also wrote that on the fax with the payment details) and got a response saying
"We can't change, we have no places neither in Beauséjour and Pincenardiére."
I've managed to avoid BSJ in the past, but if I get stuck in there this year (cust no 43xxx booking 1540xx) then it may well be the last year of attending. It's getting too bloody hard.
>:(
-
Well I've still heard bug--r all fro the ACO >:(
-
same goes for the big MB booking we tried, so thats why we decided to get to BN instead.
-
I gave up trying to buy tickets from the ACO two years ago despite being an Full 24 ACO member and ordering the year before i always got stuffed with tickets i did not want ; so for the last two years i have used Just tickets and would recomend them to anyone, shame about having to buy 2 entrance generale per camp site pass, but we do use them. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
I think my campsite allocation went wonky when I actually joined the ACO, prior to that it was ok.
>Martini...
-
Well well suprise suprise finally have had an allocation, asked for h/a have got Pincenardiere................... :(
-
which agencies, (if any) dont require the purchase of overpriced GA tickets?
Of course its possible that the ACO make this a condition when they sell to an agency. But Id rather see no mark up on the GAs which can be bought at the gate and a higher mark up on the camping.

More like the agencies seeing the chance to make more money out of you!

Got my allocation through from ACO at last - having rejected their first offer!
So this year I will be back in Expo again after a few years absence - still its just a short bike ride away from the action in BN but closer to track entrance! ;D
F
P.S. Will need to break out the heavy duty hammer again.....
P.P.S. What am I bid for my I "heart" Camping Bleu t-shirt?
