Edited - further V-neck options
Time to stump up some cash, folks. Although the design of the shirt is not yet complete (see design thread), it's pretty clear what we'll end up with, and so you can start placing your orders for them and the Car Stickers.
T-Shirts
The price for the basic shirt is £12 and they are available in sizes S,M,L,XL and XXL. Children's sizes are available from XS (3-4 years) to XL (12-13 years). The base shirt includes the artwork on the front and back.
V-neck shirts are available:
- Ladies V-neck (up to size 16) are an additional £2.50 (sorry about that, but he does not have a supplier of cheap V-necks)
- Gents V-neck (up to size XL) are an additional £1.50
If ordering V-necks, please enter 'V-Ladies' or 'V-Gents' in the 'Round/V-neck' column on the (revised) order form.
I can again offer two 'optional extras' this year, but the limits imposed by screen-printing means the options are limited:
1 Personalisation - your name (CA name or whatever!!) The names (or whatever) will be printed under the Tag-Hauer logo on the right (ahem) breast. This option is an extra £2
2 Flag - the Union flag (only) to be printed on the left hand sleeve. Sorry I can’t offer ‘ANY’ flag or logo this year, as the costs would be prohibitive. This option is £1 per shirt.
Car Stickers
These again will be available - courtesy of Paddy - in 3 sizes (all sizes approx and in cm):
Small 14.5 x 3 £0.80
Medium 22.7 x 4.6 £1.10
Large 29.5 x 6 £1.30
The stickers will be similar to last year, obviously updated for 2009 and with the same pic as the T-shirt. For those who have had their head buried in the sand (or Newbies), 2007 stickers looked like this:

Post & Packing
Postage and packing is £1 per shirt to the UK. Overseas members should contact me to get a price for P&P.

Don’t forget, only those who have pre-paid will get their order filled.
There will be only one print run, which I anticipate will be in early May.

Don't you guys know the Paypal scam to get rid of the fees??
Send the money as 'gift' or 'personal payment owed'. This way there is no fee if you have funds in your paypal account- if buyer/sender has no fees in the account the sender pays them- the recipient therefore does not incur a fee.
Saves me a bloody fortune.
Will contact the other Lazy B'stards and see how many T's we need today and get my order in.

OK people - I guess most of you have been waiting to see what the shirt will look like before ordering ???
I have, to date, orders for 32 shirts, of which my own and Lefties order account for 23 of them. That means there's a lot more to come.
You can see from the design thread that the final design (thanks to Russell) will be stunning, so get your order for shirts and stickers in now. See the first post in this thread for details and order form.

As for the T shirts, if it makes any difference, my 2007 one still looks pristine, whereas my '08 one had faded quite a bit.
I take it this is due to the printing process? Just out of interest, will they be printed like last years, or 07's?
Not that it makes a blind bit of difference really, I'm still having one.

LT is correct - they will be screen-printed as in '07 and before.
It was a trial shot last year with the heat-transfer method, and whilst they were cheaper and more options were available, as you (and everyone else) has found, the printing was not very durable (basically, they were cr*p :'(). So I have gone back to the screen-print.
Incidentally, I have learnt something about this process. I always thought that the 'screen' bit referred to a computer screen, but it doesnt. A mesh screen is made for each of the colours in the design, which 'screens' the rest of the shirt from that particular colour. So if there are 4 colours, that means 4 screens have to be made, and 4 separate print passes occur to get the final pic. That's why it's more expensive and involves a set-up cost for each colour. Now you know ::) ::)

Good idea. The file below is a printout from my database exported to Word, and has lost some formatting, but shows all the relevant info.
The missing page 5 6 is a cost summary which I have deleted.

Easiest way is to add the info in Excel and email it back. But a rough copy with cash attached will certainly be accepted ;) ;)

Rusty has done his magic with the artwork for thr car stickers, and I think they are fantastic - modelled on the design for the t-shirts.
Paddy is currently printing them and will print a few spares over the current orders.
The sizes are(approx):
14.5 x 3 (£0.80)
22.7 x 4.06 (£1.10)
29.5 x 6 (£1.30)
Add £1 per order for P&P

Any shortages will be taken to Le Mans by LangTall who will give them to Delboy - if needed :)

Can you please check your order carefully and quickly please.
I was one T-shirt 'in error' (I only had Round-neck size L whereas it should have been a Gents V-neck size L) by the time I got to the last few packages, and although I checked and re-checked by opening up most of the packages, I couldn't find any error. So if your parcel looks like it has been opened and re-sealed - it has!!

There was a couple of c*ck-ups in the distribution - someone got a ladies size L, so someone out there got a gents size L instead of a ladies one. Apols to Steve B - one of party got a round neck instead of a V neck - having checked all parcels twice, I think this was a printer error. Apols also to Robbo - his shirts only arrived a day after he left for LM. That is outside my control - the PO took 12 days to deliver a 1st class parcel. I'll have a look into prices of couriers for future reference.
Hope everyone else was satisfied with the end product.
