I agree - but have seen a few cars racing around at speed - not sure what that is all about, must work it put one day ;D
-
I put my mate, who is into music, onto the case a few weeks ago but so far no luck.
Mr M Jackson is short of cash and might be up for it.
Hopefuly Kings of Leon who have/did have a gap and could do it (as could many others.)
I am sure it will be public in a few weeks anyway.

Credit crunch line up ;D
-
Great line up , I wont be bothered about missing them! and can get on with more important things!
-
What a load of Tosh !!! is that the best they can come up with ?
-
Well that eases my pain about not going this year....
-
Wish I hadn't asked now.......
-
Oh well, best go to the poo bar then!
Or in these credit crunch times should we rename it to be the Cava bar?
-
Has anybody ever been to one of these concerts? 'Vettes make better music than any band ever could, don't they?
-
I thought Vinnie's Vice played at DfH party....you need music other than that?
-
Yeah, but the ACO also has a band on the saturday. Our party is on friday. ;)
Although there won't be much of a band this year, we don't have the money of space to bring down a podium...

I did once. I have no idea who was on or what they were singing. I do seem to recall it was the first time I'd had Vodka and Red Bull.
Whatever the racket coming off the stage was it wasn't a match for the Panoz's that were running that year.

Lang Tall.
Sorry to hear that DFH are reigning themselves in, hopefully the racing will make up for it.
Thanks for all the big years, they will come again.

Hear, hear.
Marius, are times as bad there as they are hear?

It's not just recession I think. Severall people already stated last year they couldn't join us this year due to studies being finished and such things. It basicly resized our group from the 30ish last year to 12 so far this year. That really cuts us down on budget, as we didn't want to make it more expansive for the people still coming.
But we'll be back bigger style somewhere in the future. ;)
-
Well, if the pig disease actually turns up in France, their might not be a race, so no need to worry about the concerts!
I'll go hide now ;D

Where there's a will Roy.
You must have seen more than a few Porkers at Le Mans over the years.
-
The best music we will hear will be the farewell performance of the GT1 factory Corvettes. :'(
-
If the LM race can survive WW2 I'm sure a little global recession won't stop it making a fully fledged comeback for those that are finding life tough at the moment.
To show things aren't all bad, I just got word from an old pal that they are taking a double decker bus this year. They've chopped the roof off (obviously), painted it Gulf colours and installed a bar and DJ stand :D

With DFH not hosting this year The Flying Baguettes have decided not to push the music this year and do other things on Friday night. We may be bring enough gear to do a low key set in the campsite at some stage so keep listen out and come and join us if we do.
