What is the name of the train from Paris to LeMans?
Does it go to Holland?
Thanks
Randy
1. Nigel
2. No
The TGV runs from Paris (Montparnasse) to Le Mans. It doesn't go to Holland, but the Thalys runs from Amsterdam to Paris (Gare du Nord). Hope this helps.
Ade
This train si called TGV.
Some go to Holland, not sure directly to Le Mans.
Go on:
http://www.voyages-sncf.com/dynamic/_SvTermCommVoySaisie?_TMS=1191935211499&_DLG=SvTermCommVoySaisie&_LANG=FR&_AGENCY=VSC
and try to book a ticket; it's the website of the SNCF the French national railway company.
Looked at the train as an alternative to driving.
£144 London to Le Mans with a change at either Lille or Paris.
Then there's the cost of getting to London from Southampton, which on a weekday is usually £52 for a day return.
So all in that's around £200
Fuel + ferry + tolls = £134 + £34.06 + £35 = £203.06
Car wins on the basis that it's more flexible, I can cram it with what I need and it will transport loads of beer on the way home ;D

From Paris you take the TGV to Le Mans & from there take the tram to the circuit.
Le Mans is the only option ;D

Maybe I am stupid, but I cant get the site to recognize LeMans as a destination.

Randy,
It's Le Mans not LeMans ;D.
Ade
Oh.
;D
I'll try that.

Randy, if you do plan on coming over this year to Le Mans, don't bother finding out which train to get from Amsterdam. We'll get you a space in a car of one of the DfH members. Just state your plans, and we'll hook you up.

Or see if it's cheaper to fly to London and we'll get you across!! :)
Just dreaming, buts its fun to do.
Oh look a butterfly ......
LOL
I did some research and this is what I found.
Le Mans is spelled"Le Mans" not LeMans.
Keep that in mind while traveling in France.
approx. airfare $700.00 USD down $600.00 from last year
approx.train Amsterdam to Paris E24.
approx. train Paris to Le Mans E36.
approx. tram to track [i forgot, but it wasn,t much]
Did you it stops Carrefore during race week.
Like I said I do this every year, while yall are getting ready.
Keeps me amused while on hold during the work day.
Kinda slow at work right now,and I am starting get bored.
Can you tell?
LT and JPC if some kind of miracle happens yall will be the first to know
because I would definately need yall's help. ;D
