I seem to recall that some time ago there was a facility to put your location on a map - was it on this site or was there a link to another site? Anyway, I spend a lot of time driving all over the uk and staying in boring hotels and it's often occurred to me that I might be in the vicinity of another CA member but don't realise it.
So if anyone wants to add their details I'll start it off:
Steve aka Lord Steve, Epworth, North Lincolnshire.

Dirk Jan, aka Dirk3D
- when in Holland: Delft, Zuid Holland
- when in UK: Holbeach, Spalding Area, 25 miles from Peterborough

The guys over at Beermountain use Frappr
We at the S-Max Owners Club were using Flagr, but the site seems unstable and so we might go down the Frappr route too.

I'm in the shadow of Norman Foster's limp dick, otherwise known as the arch over Wembley Stadium.
Every architect seems to design at least one phallic symbol, think Norman was showing his age with this one! >:D
If you get the impression I don't like it, you're right, like most peeps that live with it, we think the Stadium's an obscenely expensive eyesore in the wrong location! >:(

Oh no, so do we although unless you want to read about John & Charles Wesley and see a couple of picyures of churches I'd recommend that it remains "clickless".
Unless of course you are as bored as I am tonight.

Funny enough not that one.
Burnett Rd is just round the corner from another well known and highly respected CAer's parents. That chippy has only been open three or four years I think, there was opposition to them frying fish when they opened, do they do fish now?
The one I THINK that Andy has a(n un)healthy dislike to is nearer to Kingstanding, one time sink-hole of the Northern Hemisphere now itself much improved!
Blimey Alnwick to Kingswinford, there's a complete contrast innit.
I could almost live in Alnwick ...
:D
-
Perdu - Burnett rd chippy certainly do do fish - rates as a 7/10 IMHO. They have no idea what a bread bun is though- they wouldnt sell me a chip buttie even though they had bread under the counter!!! Mind you I might be in a different Streely - the one i know isnt west of Aldridge and east of Sutton coldfield!!! or do i have the map upside down? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Been driving through there twice a week for nearly two years now - nice neighbourhood isnt it, but nowhere is too nice for a chippy!
-
I could have been reading my head upside down, not an unusual situation
I doubt if you will find any chippies in Brumshire (or Greater Brumshire like Streetly is) that understands the urge to butty a chip or three like they "oop northerners"
No bloody good at supplying gravy either, even if they can supply fiftyseven varieties of Kebab garnishing slime...
I did find a gravy supplier in the black country (Blackheath) that could and would supply, but ONLY with faggots
Funny old world innit
