Tell me what detail in the first 2 minutes of "Le Mans" indicates you're in Summer 1970 so after the 70' race?
-
It was the only race where the cars started in the 'ear of corn' formation, but the drivers didn't run to the cars.
They were already strapped in for the start.
1969: run across the track
1971: first rolling start.
-
I agree but it doens't appear in the two first minutes...
-
You mean in the film?
-
You could camp any where, and with in the first 2 mins of the start - the pikes had knicked all your booze ;D
-
Anything to do with the Cathedral and/or town centre?
-
You mean in the film?
yes the first 2 minutes of the film, not the race...
.. ok if you don't knwo images by heart, you'll need to see it very precisely...
-

Yes, you're on the way
-
If it's the film then it could be the sign on the Citroen garage advertising the 1971 new models, which presumably came out after June.
If it's not that, then is it the flower seller selling flowers which bloom later in the year?
-
Flowers in the planters?
Ade
-
Hmm, when does your fishing season start?

Good answer, until late 90's in France year's models were issued in late summer of the year before, so '71 were issued in september '70.
Did you remembered the film or did you watch it again?
Otherwise he had the good sticker on the windscreen

I cheated, and stuck the DVD on.
I did notice that he had a 1970 sticker on the Porsche.
By the way Gilles well done on your spelling, I can't spell anachronism, and english is my first language. :)
-
easy spelling, for all these "intellectaul" words, it's the same in French with a final "E" 8) (hoping each time the english version exists ;)
