Took Lady C for a quick 5 day Normandy / Brittany blitz starting in Le Mans this Monday. and arrived back today all Muscadet / musseled / oystered up and on heat for next year's race.
Naturally we drove the Mulsanne / corner / Indianapolis / Arnage route in the MGF and couldn't help noticing bus loads of Gendarmerie rushing about and standing on every traffic junction.
What's going on - is this a run-through for next year I thought ?

PS - it was raining most of the week and the MGF was front end slippy at Indianapolis so drove carefully from then on. Its a fierce camber though.
PPS - For my son at home, I bought a first 'volume' of a part collection of Le Mans 'dinky' car models.
The first the Audi R8 was an intoductory 3 euros but I gave part 2 ( Pescarolo Peugeot ) a miss at 6 euros. It was much appreciated by the young Prince C.
