One of the seniors at work suggested yesterday that I may be asked to de sticker the Vecky as some of it was not really suitable for a vehicle that is paid mileage and represents the company ;)
She is lovely and said it was a magnificent job and looked really good but she doubted that the head office "managers" would have the same view >:D
My visit to said office today, wasting 80 miles to collect and deliver a letter on behalf of someone elses failing involved some walking. They didnt see a thing ;)
Even though the journey was sedate and musical, windows down, enjoying the weather.... no great rush about anything.... I knew the end result. I am sad to say that I have nearly finished the removal of our LM09 adventure from the Vecky :(
May I say a massive thanks to Paddy and Comef for the vinyl and TrayBoy and Rusty for their application assistance. It looked awesome.
Future plans dictate that I will be Bedford pilot next year so I put my hand out to you all and offer the mantle of top stickered CA (My view!) car to someone else.
The pink cheque roof is staying..... until the fcukers say NO!
Regards, best wishes and thanks to you ALL for a blinding week in a field in France.

FFS Pig Pen - i thought something terrible had happened.....
It also crossed my mind that you might have buried Clare in the woods, which is obviously different to the above >:D

Me too - do be careful with thread titles, you'll get people all worried...
And to record how she looked for posterity.....

I won't be a truckdriver next year, so I guess my vehicle might be a bit stickered again next year. ;D

Rex sad but as you say, just a tad inevitable
I love it, meself, so shame!
mwah
Have you and Sir Rusty worked out a fresh look for the venerable Bedford yet?
If not I hope that you feel up to giving her a fresh look. Even if you do retain a small homage to her past history, she has a new chapter to write in LM history and ought to reflect that now.

Rex, do you need a Class 3 for the Popemobile?

No. MOT is a class 4 but that is easily achieved. I should be MOT man by the time it comes around :police:

I can't believe that they won't allow you to at least leave the Skull and Crssbones on the bonnet. How can that be bad for business?

My advice is to get rid of it all or you'll attract the police. It's just asking for a tug... :police: >:D

In protest to having all the stickers removed she has developed a really annoying misfire.
Into the workshop tonite to remove all the induction system to get at the 2 plugs that could possibly have not been changed since its last main dealer service.... 7 years ago!! :o
