Howdy folks! ;D It's back: the Rotterdam meeting to celebrate the end of the race season (or just another excuse for a p1ss up, whatever comes first!).
Planned date to put down on the calendar is Saturday the 14th of November. Details will be about the same as the previous edition, that topic is still in the top 10 on this forum I believe ;)
We will work on posting more details soon, but I guess we should keep some unchanged as all liked it last time. Let the good times roll! 8)
-
Another pi55 up?? ohhhh ahhhh errrrrr......awwww go on then :)
-
I still have nightmares from the last time about waking up and seeing JPC's bare ar*e in the wee small hours!! :o
F
P.S. Was fun getting tyre tracks up the back of Rick's hand tho - that'll teach him not to try take me from behind! ;D
-
Count us in... that date is 4 days from my birthday so works out rather nicely ;D
-
Wouldn't dare to do that, Fran! ;D
-
Count me in - last 2 parties were great!
-
Wouldn't dare to do that, Fran! ;D
Not unless you are prepared to face the consequences! >:D
-
Please count me in too. This could get a routine. ;D
-
Hearing "Officially" that the party is taking place this year has brightened up an otherwise boring day at work.
Time to get planning things ;D
Return tunnel out early Friday, back late Sunday looks to be £122 all in. ;D
-
As there will be quite a few of us making a similar journey, I wonder what it would cost to hire a large minibus to drive over?
-
A 17 seater would be about £250 + fuel
-

Sounds like a plan and quite reasonable! (and jolly good fun!! ;))

Awesome idea!
Whatever you do - just make sure you don't arrive any later than 1pm on a Friday!!!
-
I'm good with that plan too - although there is also talk about taking over a flyBe plane from Southampton..... >:D
-
Sounds like we have to be there by 1pm on Friday Bradders.... perhaps there is something happening? ???
-
I'm definitely up for the trip, need to speak to Deeks and Jimbo as we may well ride. I'd imagine that Tray, Elvis, Wooly, Chris, Mark, Chelsea
et all will also be up for this too. You might want a bigger bus.
-
How about an Airbus? :D
-
After the two Airbus "incidents" in recent time I would rather take a usual bus... even being driven by me I must add.
-
Hi Paddy,
After the last one I'll deffo attend as it was brilliant ;D
Also in Niel's abcence I'll book his place as well........he's currently practicing for the Road Atlanta road trip!!!
Wishy

I heard that Paddy was going to be running down the streets of Rotterdam, starkers, waving a union jack above his head..... >:D
Couldn't be anything else - surely?
-
I've spoken to Paul Z and he's up for it, it's now in his diary. I can't imagine Gimpy's doing anything too important either. Chris Z is away on holiday in Madeira but will ask him on his return. I will be going too. So a fair collection of Zarses to at to the fray.
-
I'll be there too.
-
Can you put me down as a possible please? Not sure which side of the world I'll be living on by then. :-\
Dx

Haha D, Nov is only about six months before LM 2010 ;)
-
So....I spoke to some of my "airline people" and they say November shouldn't be too expensive, and if we can get a group of 10-15 together, we should be able to get a fairly hefty discount.
So...if we get an idea of the number of people who want to fly into Rotterdam on Friday morning, and from where, I can probably arrange a big booking.....
I will tell the airline we are all religious types, who are going on a pilgramage....which isn't the furthest thing from the truth ever ;)

Sounds interesting. Keep us updated ;D

You can only get to Rotterdam from City or Luton (sensibly).
Alternatively Gatwick or Saaaaafffff-ampton to Amsterdam then train onwards. Flybe from Southampton is currently £75 arriving Amsterdam at 9.05 am. Plenty of time for the 1pm deadline (whatever that's for).
Although don't book it yet as I still don't have clearance and I don't want to pay any more ;D
-
the Luton flight is not bad, but city is better
Luton is Transavia, boeing 737
City is a Fokker 50 from VLM, more comfort, but slightly more expensive (altough, if you book now you should be fine)
-
£60 flight but £80 charges :o for VLM
-
For those interested, you can fly from Leeds / Bradford on the Friday morning arriving in Amsterdam at 9 am with Jet 2. Returning Monday morning arriving back in the UK at 10.00am for £45 all in if you only take hand luggage.
-
I invited Claires friend Chelsea as well as Princess Alex.
Does anyone mind?
After a number of questions, I can confirm that this is her and not a pic robbed from somewhere. However it was not me that took it :(
-
You filthy beast >:D
-
Look again Zarse! Bigger pic and its really her! >:D :police:
-
I've booked my room in Wotterdam, and I'm not on a plane with you f**king gayboys.
-
I dont think we will be on a plane either. My Harem may have expanded for the trip so I might well end up driving :(
Hotel booking this week.
-
a couple for you m'lud
-
ooh, here's another one....
-
and this is what Doris thought................
-
Welcome to Marlboro country. ;)
-
smokin'
-
460 pics to go yet..............................and these babies are lame. Hahahahaha
-
I imagine you have some truly awful ones of me. I'm not shy. Bring em on! Like the one of Doris' prolapse!
-
Oh man, I tell you, these are easy. It's gonna take me the next couple of days to go through these muthas. Mwaaaa
-

Is that Chelsea who was working in the sun the other day? That's fine by me ;D
-
So, is everyone hotelling in Rotterdam then? Where?

Yes it is the Chelsea you saw the other day. I seem to remember you told her she had a lovely bottom..... ;D
-
I've booked my room in Wotterdam, and I'm not on plane with you f**king gayboys.
Mine booked too.79 Euro through eurobookings.com for the Novotel Brainpark.
-
Looking good, guys! ;D Presume you've only booked the Friday, so there's no need for a taxi on Sat night/Sun morning?
-
Correct ;D I think Russ has booked saturday too but we only have the friday. No time for sleeping on Saturday night!! ;D
-
Yep, I've booked both nights, just in case.
-
Just in case or because you're a mincer?
-
Yeah, that'll be me all day long.
Hey, are you actually going to show up to this or are you going to be snarching around the gaybars in Bournemouth again ??
-
That all depends on Mrs Spot I believe >:D
-
Is anyone driving over?
-
Russ and I for sure and probably Wooly too. Its a simple journey from Russ's pad and means we can beat the 1pm deadline by a few hours.
-
Although I'd like to drive it just doesn't add up for me. Total journey would be about 7 hours compared to 5 by plane and it's cheaper than a eurotunnel crossing.
-
Just in case or because you're a mincer?
Yeah, that'll be me all day long.
Hey, are you actually going to show up to this or are you going to be snarching around the gaybars in Bournemouth again ??
;D
I love the way Rob always comes off second best when he hurls gratuitous insults.
We've found your weak spots Gayboy! :D

Flying with? From? to?

Southampton to Amsterdam with Flybe. £75. Departs 06:50 friday morning returns 14:45 sunday (or you can come back about 20:00 I think)

Hmmm, that might be a plan. I think the 20:00 might be the more sensible option!
How long does the train take from Amsterdam to Rotterdam?
-
About 45 minutes I think. Andy Z might remember in more detail.
-
Yeah, that'll be me all day long.
Hey, are you actually going to show up to this or are you going to be snarching around the gaybars in Bournemouth again ??
I am actually going to show up to this. At the moment. Well I've booked the hotel and will be booking the flight soon and I wouldn't miss Paddy running down the street naked for anything (due to my apparent gay tendencies ::) )
Although I'm afraid I won't be snarching anywhere as I have no idea what it means. Maybe Andy Z can enlighten me, it sounds like something he might encounter whilst cruising around Crawley.
-
We've found your weak spots Gayboy! :D
No doubt you'll be attempting to exploit them again like the last time we were in Amsterdam.
-

That does sound tempting. How much is the train from Amsterdam to Rotterdam?
-
Schiphol airport to Rotterdam Alexander trainstation, which is closest to paddy's is about 1 hour, switch trains in Rotterdam Centraal.
Cost involved:
One-way ticket: 12.00 euro
-
Robspot, you live in Basingstoke right? Good work on the flights, I will inform the other Melans and maybe we'll get on that one too... ;D
-
Robspot, you live in Basingstoke right? Good work on the flights, I will inform the other Melans and maybe we'll get on that one too... ;D
Naughty Hayley has climbed aboard! (I wish!) Welcome ;D
Rob lives in Bournemouth about 15 miles from me....
I have just spoken to Lady PP and I think we might well fly as Its cheaper, closer to home, neither of us have been to Amsterdam before and it will be a damn good laugh! (and we can drink all the way) :o
-
Naughty Hayley has climbed aboard! (I wish!) Welcome ;D
I haven't met Naughty Hayley yet. The last Hayley I saw was still (relatively) well behaved.
How exciting ;D
-
£58.98 Gatwick to Amsterdam with SleazyJet, departing Friday morning at 6.15 and returning Sunday evening at 21.30
-
Transavia from Luton to Rotterdam is £76.79. Depart Luton 08.30 arrive Rotterdam at 10.30am. Return at 19.30 on Sunday.
-
£58.98 Gatwick to Amsterdam with SleazyJet, departing Friday morning at 6.15 and returning Sunday evening at 21.30
Bargain. I imagine the Zarses will go from gatwick. The flights land within half an hour of each other (Gatwick and Soton).
Still going from Southampton as I can catch a train from just down the road. Pig Pen the train will pass New Milton at 05:29 lad.
-
First train from Basingstoke to Southampton Airport arrives at 6.12am. Is the train station right next to the Terminal? How far in advance do you need to turn up for FlyBe with only hand luggage?
-

It's 5 minutes walk to the terminal building. Our train will get in at 6.02. It seems to be 30 minutes for hold baggage and 20 minutes for carry on.
-
Stu, Kate and I will almost certainly be flying from Southampton on the Friday morning, I think Hayley will be joining us to! Mark/Hay, maybe you can travel to ours on the Thursday night and we can all go to the airport together in the morning?
The flight looks like £92 with luggage.
If there are a few people flying from/to Gatwick/Southampton on the Sunday afternoon/evening then maybe we could hire a mini bus to take us to/from Rotterdam? If the train is 12 Euros each way then it might work out about the same between us...
Speaking for Stu and I, we wont be able to join the fun in Amsterdam on the Sunday night unfortunately as we're short on holiday for the rest of the year...
-
What fun in Amsterdam on the sunday night? I didn't know any was scheduled.
What's the consensus then for soton people? Out friday morning and back sunday 20:55
-
I thought LPP mentioned something about a night in the dam on the Sunday... Maybe I'm imagining things... I think I'll be well done by the time Sunday night comes along though
I reckon the Friday morning, Sunday evening trip sounds good.
-
I think I'll be well done by the time Sunday night comes along though
>:D >:D >:D >:D
-
Well I'll get enough stick as it is for not getting home until 10pm so a night in the Dam, however much fun, is out for me. I'm off to book the flight now before it goes up!
-

>:D >:D >:D >:D
haha :o

Looks like Paddy might need to find a bigger warehouse ;D
-

That could be a cunning plan!! Although it would only end up in a drinking session and we'd be boarding the plane with a hangover!! ;D
-
Sounds perfect...
-
Why not start the way we mean to go on, JPC?
-
I have booked the hotel and will look at flights soon. Thinking of Gatwick/Southampton to Holland somewhere.
-
We've found your weak spots Gayboy! :D
No doubt you'll be attempting to exploit them again like the last time we were in Amsterdam.
I remember that, you went white and collapsed for some peculiar reason. >:D
-
About 45 minutes I think. Andy Z might remember in more detail.
I think it was about just over an hour. Anyway it was very convenient, Marius picked us up from the station.
-

Mark. NB Southampton Parkway. Not Central!

Have not decided yet if the Sussex Zarses will go Soton or LGW, but probably LGW as it's cheaper and more convenient. There's beds available at Chateau Zarse for all those who wish to join us. Paul Zarse wants to go from Soton so I'll let him know the details.
I doubt we'll be staying in the Dam on the sunday night, last time it was a disaster, we were all so knackered nobody had any get up and go left and we were embarrassngly tucked up in bed by 11pm. Dreadful. :(
Vicky, what the f**k's luggage? Take only cabin baggage FFS! My baggage will consist of a toothbrush and a passport. Bloody women! ::)
-
You're right, Andy, what was I thinking... ::)
A couple of Melans tops, passport, toothbrush and a change of pants = I'll be fine! Anyone know what the hand luggage limit is on Flybe?
-

This sounds like not fully exploiting a weeknd Holland possibilities. (says the guy who slept at 18:00 last year)
I'd like a rematch
-
Good evening all. Drastic change of plans compared to earlier posts but we are booking ouf flights after I finish typing this. Out Friday at 6.50am and back Mon at 8pm. I thought as it was my birthday celebration we would stay and have a look around. Neither of us have been there before and there are a few things I want to have a look at ;)
I bet the fcukers will start to bump the price up once we start booking!
Regading feeling terrible on Sunday.... thats a guarantee!
PP
-
Booked.
Out 13/11 @ 06.50AM on Flight BE1011
Back16/11 @ 20.55PM on Flight BE1018
Seats 11 A&B
I will check out hotels for the Sunday night tomorrow while having nothing to do at work.... again!
Naughty Hayley is staying for the Sunday night and I would hope we could round up a few more ;D
-
I might be interested in a bit of sunday night action. I'll be on the road though not in a gayboy plane. Let me know the sketch. i'm also trying to get hold of Deeks and jimbo, Stinky Bill is up for it but is a bit indisposed at the moment to to a close family bereavement.
I should try and get hold of my pal Sutherland, he's lived in central Amsterdam for years now, but I haven't seen him since my last visit 6 years ago.
-

That is a disgrace !!!
-
Out BA8113 LGW-AMS depart 09.05 fri 13th >:D (they always crash on friday the 13th)
Rtn BA8114 AMS-LGW depart 11.55 mon 16th. Arrives 11.55, how can this be? ??? ;)
£86.50 including civilised flight times, unlimited free drink, a bite and 23kg of hold luggage (Vicky take note!) Knowing my luck I'll be upgraded ;)
-

Rest assured if me Steve, Chris and Robspot are in bed by 11 in the Dam, there is a f**k*ng good reason for it. We wos ruinned. We tried drinking theough it but it just wasn't happening >:(
-
I wish we'd pulled our fingers out earlier... Whilst waiting for decisions to be made this evening FlyBe have increased their prices from £81 all in (no bags) to £105!!! We managed to book one seat at £81, one at £91 and the other is just going through now at £105! Flybe must be rubbing their hands together!
-
Tell me about it!! Just tried to book now. May have to go with Monsieur Hawley and get an upgrade ;)
-
My eurotunnel's 50 quid plus 1 tank of fuel unless I take the landie, in which case, it'll be 4 tanks of fuel , sweet.
-
Flight price increased on the Monday as well?

It their clever computer. It recognises when loads of people are looking at a particular flight well in advance and it ups the ante. It'll probably be back down to £80 in a few days. :(
I expect you sold them the software Vicky! >:D
-
Just booked Wooly's room for him as he's out in Seattle at the moment.
-
Tell me about it!! Just tried to book now. May have to go with Monsieur Hawley and get an upgrade ;)
Clear your cookies and try again. They have some thing inbuilt that shows all your hits and then adds costs... my mate sid knows well as his price went up by hundreds of £'s after shopping for a few weeks! ;D or get someone else to do it. text me your card number and stuff. I will do it!

Yes, I remeber that. cramming you in a Golf was fun!

So, it seems you are all staying in hotels on Friday night. What's wrong with staying at Paddys' place? Scared of partying two nights running are we? What a bunch of poofs ::)

I don't see what the fuss is all about, they're far too loud anyway. I would much rather hear JPC go through an acoustic repertoire of his song >:D
-
preferably without a microphone, in a sound deadened room, about 10 miles away??

Flghts booked.
Out ... Luton - Rotterdam Friday 13th 8:30 arrive 10:30
Back Sunday 19:30.
Looks like most of us arrive at RTM about the same time.
-
I'm now all booked up too.
Same flight as Bob - Transavia (Luton - Rotterdam)
See you in the Irish bar on Friday night. ;D
-
I am on that flight on Saturday 29th of August. Back on the Monday after a short weekend in Amsterdam. Flights are much cheaper to Rotterdam then Schipol and the train is not too much.
Not sure what transport we are using for November yet.
-
I'm now all booked up too.
Same flight as Bob - Transavia (Luton - Rotterdam)
See you in the Irish bar on Friday night. ;D

Zeebrugge
That was in Belgium last time I looked
-
Some people just don't know geography. ::)
Zwijndrecht (I work there), Zuid-Beijerland is what I would call 'near Rotterdam'. ;) And of those only Zwijndrecht officially has a harbour according to the UN.

I think thats the one!

That is one, really nice place - lots of history and a nice harbour indeed! (not very close to Rotterdam though, at least I wouldn't like to walk it! ;) )
-
A friend lives there during the week so myself and my mate Sid might take advantage of the offer of free accommodation ;D

Following Dirk's topic (to be found here (click) (http://www.clubarnage.com/forum/index.php?topic=10003.0)) I would like to suggest for all of us to go to Schiedam for our very last Vinnie's Vice gig 8)
We can arrange a coach to drop us off after dinner and pick us up again for last rounds at my office.
Opinions please ;)
-
I was thinking exactly the same thing!!
Would maybe be nice if we didn't tell them we are going so it's a surprise?
-
Brilliant,
tried to blag my way in to a concert before, but never tried a whole coach load! ;D
-
Would maybe be nice if we didn't tell them we are going so it's a surprise?
F-ing brilliant idea! It will be hard to keep it quiet though, will contact Dirk tomorrow...

Well, I got their logo! ;)

The media attention for that girl is just ridiculous here in Holland. I would never let my kid do such a thing on that age, but that's my opinion :-\

The smallest boat I crossed the Atlantic in was 40ft - and that was too blimming small.
I really wouldnt fancy trying it in 26ft on my own - I would rather risk the Brethren/Gimp combo anytime! :-\
-
I probably wouldn't go to see Vinnie's Vice. Nothing personal, it's just not my kind of thing. I am perfectly happy to stay at the office though, on "lookout" duty. Mainly on the lookout for passing girls to join in a drug fuelled orgy with me and anyone else who stays - probably just Rex at the moment. Oh well, when in Rome.... ::)
-
I guess dropping you off at the Irish Pub might be a nicer substitute, even though it might be a little early in the season to find snow out on the street ;)

Now thats a decision......vinnies vice, or harrassing girls on the street......maybe someone could just ring us from the gig??
-
Just text anyone not joining the girl harrasing get together to which police station they brought you!
-
I thought Holland was a liberal place! If you can't harrass girls on the street I might as well stay at home ;D
-
And how many girls do you think to find on the street in a industrial area on saturday night? ;D
-
Jo and I are having a romantic weekend in Holland. ;D
Heathrow to Amsterdam out 13th, 0725.
Back 21.30 Sunday.
I have booked a nice quiet hotel for Friday, Novotel Brainpark. ;D
I will have to check whether there is anything intresting going on in the area. ;D

Naughty Hayley is staying for the Sunday night and I would hope we could round up a few more ;D
My plans have changed - BMI have forked up the flights and had to re-schedule - so my flight now leaves at 06:45 (they wanted to bump me to about 11am) and my return is about 30 mins after Rex's.

I wonder if this is down to the fact that BAA no longer own Gatwick from 1st November!
Guessing lower charges mean the airline can now justify flying from there.

yea been watching that, could not get a booking past 1st Nov.
VLM from manchester is over £400 round trip.
Could take Sleasy jet to Amsterdam and then train down.
Or might go wild and drive there! Worth a thought.

Help needed........what is the address for the ?~~Irish Bar?
-
Given that we land at about 9am on friday and now have nothing to do all day except
take in a cultural tour get larupsed, I'll be AMAZED if I make it anywhere near the Irish bar, so the fact that I don't know where it is shouldn't hamper progress at all. ;D
What time you arriving then? If you're early enough just follow the carnage, I'm sure rex can leave a trail of girls knickers for you :o
-
Neil and I are driving over and staying somewhere in Belguim/Holland thursday night and driving into Rotterdam on Friday morning.....then we plan to abandon the car in the hotel car park!!!!!
-
Are you staying at the Brainpark Novotel Wishy?
I do think that it is an approiate name for a hotel on a CA/DfH Rotterdam trip.
-
Hi Barry,
The reason I need the address for the Irish bar is to book a hotel as close as possible...........to reduce damage limitation in as much, less distance to stagger.
We have a hotel booked in the city centre but if it is not close enough then we will change to another hotel.

It all sounds awful... I'll break open the trophy cabinet to allow the trail to be laid ; )

What time is everyone arriving at RTM?
Myself and Steve get there at 10:30 so could wait and meet up with others arriving about that time
-
Myself, Rex, Claire, Queen Vic, StuartC, Hayley and Kate are arriving in AMS at 09:30
Assuming Rex doesn't get stopped going through customs I anticipate arriving in Rotterdam around 10:30 - 11:00. Not the airport though, I think the train goes somewhere else.
Actually can one of the Freeky Deekies tell us where we should go? I doubt we can get in the hotel at that time of day but we can probably leave luggage. We're staying at the Brainpark Novotel.
Maybe best to meet you somewhere later Bob. PM me your number if you want.
-

Paul Z is on that flight too, and you're meeting me at AMS to catch the train down together. I arrive 30 mins before you lot (assuming neither flight crashes; it is friday the thirteenth), so I can do some research when I land. Anyway I'm sure there'll be time for a pint before we set off.
-
Hi guys,
if you can make sure you'll get on a train all together (9 persons if I count correctly) I'll arrange a pickup at Rotterdam CS. Looking at the timeschedule, we'll then drive you over to the Novotel, as you can checkin there from 12.00, which would be perfect timing.
There are direct trains leaving on 10:13, 10:43 and 11:10. If you can catch one of those, give me a call (Andy Z and Rex should have my number, if not, I'll PM it) and we'll be waiting for you. :)
Cheers, and see you lot on friday!
-
Hmmmm....it seems I have missed an invitation here... :P

I'll call you when we're on the train down from AMS. Incidentally, I've sent funds for me and Paul Z by Paypal, unfortunately I didn't put a reference on it. We're not doing the Karting. Let me know if you have any other queries. Ta, Andy Z

Ok, all sorted out.
Any idea how Brad is planning on coming over?
-
We have a couple of hours to kill before getting to Zeewolde, looking for somewhere on the way (leaving from Schipol), to have lunch and look around, preferably 'old' Dutch rather than modern, the area/town that is, not the lunch.
Done a bit of research, and it looks like a choice between Muiderslot or Hardermijk.
Any thoughts about the choice from DfH would be appreciated, or other suggestions.

Clearing my route to Zeewolde! I land at 1145 from Toronto and need a very quick run throught the airport and trip round Amsterdam.

muiderslot might not be too bad, also an option is to have a lunch in Naarden-vesting, that is a very nice old dutch town, en route

Hey Marius,
I'm coming on a hairyplane.....
I arrive shortly before everyone else - so should have some time to kill before they arrive.

can you drop me a PM or email (bradrwills at aol dot com) and I'll get onto that straight away. I am going Karting too - just for a giggle....

Hi Brad,
so I'll pick you up in the same place as the rest. ;) Payment: with the speed of paypal lately, I prefer cash from now on.
Cheers!

Cool - thanks Marius - i've just sent Paddy all the other stuff he requested ages ago and I just haven't got round to doing - should all be sorted now.
This weekend is going to be MENTAL
-
Never been to Holland before.
Do most restaurants and petrol stations accept credit cards and debit cards.
Thought I would ask, 'cos Jo has had problems using cards in Germany
-
Hi Barry, if you use a Visa or Mastercard it usually isn't a problem. AmEx isn't that common as far as I know.
-
Thanks Marius for the fast reply.
See you Friday. ;D
-
I'm leaving work for the day, see you all tomorrow!!!! ;D ;D ;D
Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
-
Leaving for Hayleys Mums in minutes! See ya all tomorrow!!

But you 2 make such a lovely couple. ;)
-
My eyes hurt!! Bet other peoples hurt more!! >:D
-
Had a lovely chat with the UK Border Agency upon my return to Safffampton today. Apparently accusing them of not being real policemen isn't endearing to them.
Too many memories from the weekend to recount now but Small and Far Away will stay with me until I die.
Don't go anywhere near facebook for the next month. There are photos that should never see the light of day.
-
A huge thankyou to Paddy, Marius and the rest of the DfH boys and girls for an awesome weekend.
Barry & Jo.
-
Yeh ditto all that. Awesome is the only way to describe it ;D 8)
-
God I feel terrible... Bruised from karting and hung over to the max. Great weekend with great people again! The party buus was the best! Thanks to everyone who made it another memorable event! xx
-
Why, Oh why do I never remember to book the day off after these get togethers. I feel like my eyes are superglued together and I've been gargling with sulphuric acid.
Many thanks to the Dutch, particularly Paddy and Marius, for their superb organisation. The rave bus was awesome. Hopefully Steve Zarse with the Broken Barse will post his video on youtube at some point.
See you all at Le Mans for the thursday night Ibiza foam party ;D
-
On behalf of Team Zarse I would like to say a big thank you to all at DfH especially - Paddy and Marius - for organising such a fantastic weekend. Thanks also to all those who attended and for making it such a memorable experiance once again. :)
PS What's all this about photos on Facebook, nobody had a bloody camera there did they? ???
-
The way they managed to persuade Richard Hammonds dad to join us for the weekend was a masterstroke ;)

genius!! ;D

With the new digital age upon us I feel people a phrase may need updating to protect tour participants from loose photo posting and that is
WHAT HAPPENS ON TOUR STAYS UNTAGGED

it was great!
still recovering :D
thanks for turning up and having fun guys!

Full Zarse diary of the weekend:
Friday: Arrived in Holland.**
Saturday: **
Sunday: **
Monday: Left Holland, but not without getting lost in Schipol Airport (seriously - that place is HUUUUUUUUUUGE).**
**Certain areas have ommitted purposely - areas such as bad behaviour, acting like idiots, falling over, getting told off by the police, being shouted at by ladyboy hookers, etc etc have all been left out, for the protection of those involved.
;D
-
**Certain areas have ommitted purposely
Are you sure its not just a case of memory loss - or even more likely your subconscious wiping out all recollection of the traumatic events?
;D

I would add a further caveat, this was the junior branch of Team Zarse, the seniors retired due to the refreshment having taken a bit of a grip on proceedings.

Hhmm, the same junior branch that, despite trying to look the part, let Team Zarse down so badly in the karting.
I suggest a good roasting before an open fire and reducing to the rank of team fag.

What can I say that others who had obviously recovered quicker than myself have not already said.
Awesome weekend dudes... my laughing muscles are still hurting.
A full and frank rundown of events will be added when I can remembering it all! (I even learned some Dutch!)

Sounds like I missed another great weekend, Brad is still not able to to talk about it to much - even if he wanted to. Seems like the only downer is Rex's return to find his car ransacked and Brads Camera taken from the boot.
-
That was the sorry ending to a fab weekend.... Finding the 406 with a slashed tyre, smashed window, brick gouged bootlid, smashed in passenger side panels and the interior ransacked and all valuavles removed.
I will say no more as its in Police hands.
I would like to say more but obviously that would be a breach of confid... >:(

Weekend was the warming up for 2010.
Juni 2010 is booked and planned.
