Interesting stuff to read: http://www.planetlemans.com/2009/08/16/alms-announces-revised-class-structure-for-2010/
I wonder if the LMS/24h 2010 will follow a similar path

"We'll take whatever we can get." ::)
When the LMS car counts suffer as badly as the ALMS, maybe they'll consider it.
-
Does LMPC stand for: LMP "Crap"?
oh, I see, it stands for "Challenge"
like "I'm challenged in a racing sort of way so I will start in this class"
if this keeps up they'll let me enter my dumpster.
::)

Hey, Challenge not crap, they will be the same cars driving formula lemans now in Europe. I think an Oreca chassis with a CORVETTE engine, surely this must appeal to our fellow americans.
-
can you say spec class.
I go for diversity in chassis/engine
not just diversity in driver talent
-
Agree I would much prefer instead of a spec class they tried to tempt those that want to enter into P2, surley the costs cant be much different?
The oreca car is pretty handy and it makes all the right noises, but could be a bit quicker, but I guess it needs to be slower than a P2?
But at the end of the day, in these times of low entries, then any new team is to be welcomed into the fold, maybe they will then 'grow' into the proper classes over a season.
