Title: Breakfast in Falaise....
Post by: PAFC OK on August 11, 2014, 03:08:16 pm
....we thought we might give it a go next year as we pass through, any suggestions or recommendations or is Falaise perhaps a non starter for a decent café style en Francais breakfast?

Hi PAFC OK,
                 Definitely a good idea.

I let Tom Drive and GPS find the way  ;D But Google is my friend.

Very nice Croque Monsieur and excellent coffee as I recall.

La Civette is obviously a CAers stop off, as when Neil and I went to Debs funeral we popped in with Brian of the" Liverpool Boys", and yes they do a cracking Croque Monsieur and a very nice Cognac to wash it all down  :)

Sounds just what we want but not too sure about Cognac for breakfast, not with the rest of the run to la Sarthe to come anyway. Missus enjoys a Kronenbourg to start the day once at the circuit so she may indulge herself.

Surely a nice Cidre or Calvados would be more regionally correct for those not driving  >:D
