Just a quick intro from a new CA member, about to embark on his 28th consecutive Le Mans 24 Hours (Jaguar's win in 1988 being the first for me). Always the highlight of my motorsport year, my group makes a six-day pilgrimage via Eurotunnel starting early on the Wednesday morning, ending the day watching practice from the "Shanghai des 24 Heures", that hugely underrated Chinese restaurant on the Mulsanne Straight at les Hunaudieres. It's well worth a visit over the course of the weekend, as even using the restricted 24 Heures menu, the food is surprisingly good (and the cars flash by the windows at around 200mph). We've even invested in some "Shanghai des 24 Heures" t-shirts this year from www.slickattire.com...
