LT has proper orders for the first 3 LMP1s to a yet unknown team.

2 + 1 reserve car
1 for Ginetta as development car
6 cars still available.

ByKolles sent a press release out today about the test program of the CLM/P1.  They should be on the grid too next year.

I guess we'll see 8 to 10 LMP1's in Paul Ricard with the Prologue (Ginetta/Kolles/SMP)

Looking forward to supporting Lawrence Tomlinson (a mate of a mate) and his cars on the grid.

Could it be that LMP1 is now growing again that the hybrid stuff has past it's sell by date (seemingly so according to the manufacturers)?

Manor and trs racing confirmed

Possibily not the best kept secret in WEC - but good to hear!

The LMP1 beast might not quite be dead yet!

With Manor and possibly Dragonspeed on the cards, could be exciting for the race.

2018 LMP1 field so far:

- Manor TRS: 1 car (Ginetta)
- SMP Racing: 1 or 2 cars (Dallara)
- Dragonspeed: 1 car (manufacturer tba, maybe Oreca ?)
- Yet to be confirmed team: 2 cars (Ginetta - bought 3 cars as announced by Ginetta)
- ByKolles: 1 car

- Toyota: possible 2 cars

The "yet to be confirmed team" could be the team that was interested in working with Perrin earlier this year, but it surely isn't Jota or Greaves.
Alpine is another name that's been rumoured now for a few weeks. They have links to Mecachrome (Renault) who is working with Ginetta, and could step up to LMP1.

I guess we might see up to 10 LMP's on the grid for the first race in Spa next season.  Who said LMP1 was dead and buried after losing Porsche and Audi ?

Something will be announced tonight, but I expect them to stay faithful to Oreca (think Toyota chassis ...)

Suspect that United Autosports have also acquired Ginetta LMP1 chassis.

Not yet announced as far as I can tell.
