Funny but sad Phil.

'Tis indeed an odd year without all the build up and the things we mark the event by. Certainly feels bloody weird being on holiday with the missus in our caravan, rather than catching up with friends at Le Mans and drinking in the atmosphere. And the beer. And the wine......

Phil,

ACO website says TV coverage on Velocity and Discovery for Canada.

Web streaming will doubtless happen on various media, e.g. YouTube

All the best,

Mark

Hi Mark,
Velocity was the motorsport division of Discovery which has morphed into MotorTrend . All of them are subscription based for web stream. Or included in some Cable / Satellite services. Pay pay and pay again :)

I'll be out on Lake Ontario racing sail boats so definitely miss the start.Might be able to find something in the late evening which will be about 1/2 way so be interesting to see who is still running.

It will be better next year when we can once again get together and share a few beers and some laughs.

Phil

Possible thunder storms today. Still prefer to be there than watching it here.
Watching the start at a bbq (no meguez sausages ;D) Then to simulate travelling back from Mulsanne corner to Terte Rouge we are off to another house for the evening session.

Mixed bag of weather then. Off to High Force near Barnard Castle today. Plenty of walking to simulate trudging around the track. RLM plus spotters guide should fit well with peace of the countryside..... Continue with that this evening supplemented by beers and red wine.

I watched a few hours earlier and just watched an hour or so more, they were predicting rain but I haven't yet seen any. Seems there was some pretty close earlier but it didn't reach the track.

Nice. 'Enjoy sailing. I've only had one small racing sailboat for a couple of years as a teen many, many, moons ago.
'T'was a Comet (a friend had a Lightning). Fun li'l devil with a horse and a half Seagull outboard stowed away for doldrums.
It was moored in Little Neck bay and we'd sail it down under the Throgs Neck and Whitestone bridges to Flushing Bay.
We'd watch the airlines land at LaGuardia airport from just below them (runways out into the water....'scary at first...:o).......until we were chased away each time.....:police: ;D
