I may go it depends on whether they do passenger rides if there is another tube strike on...   ;)

I'm sure there were some 2 seater F1 cars a few years ago?? It would certainly be a good thing!!

I'm going to try and be there, depends on what time I finish work. Us surgeons can't just "book" a ficticious appointment in London that just so happens to be on the same day!  ;) ;D

Although perhaps I can get something arranged so that I'll be in Harley Street? mmmm

Steve, I'm with you.  Promote the British GP?  Funny thing about that, time was when F1 didn't need promoting, the racing itself did that.

Didn't Jordan make a two seater, maybe Mansell could seat his ego in the second seat.

I'm sure Jordan will be only to happy to equip the f1 with some panniers rather than have Mansell's saddle bags dragging along Regents Street ;D

I'll be the Old Coffee House in Beak Street with Trayboy and Elvis which is much closer to the heart of the action and wont be full of tourists.

If anyone wants to join in they are more than welcome.

It's on the junction of Marshall street for those who need to know.

See you there after the Veraswamy then Mark ? :D

What you actually saw some!!!!

We arrived a 5'oclock with the police turning us away. I went upstairs in the Argyll Arms and leant out the window only to be told not to do so or the POLICE will close the pub.

Saw one car with the help of a video camera at full arms reach out a second storey window.

Echoing point.

Fantastic :)

Maybe you should try moving to France. I know a nice field in Le Mans that you should try out. Two weeks tomorrow would be a good time to try it!!  :)

What a waste of time.  Stood up for 3 hours without a beer and rubbing shoulders with the great unwashed and every pickpocket in southern England.  And for what, to see Westminster City Council's formation roadsweeping team, and the backs of peoples heads, and I was near the front.  If it wasn't for the screens on other people's videos, we wouldn't had a clue what was going on.

Now when the French organise something on the public roads it seems to work

I guess I should have relaxed that fact as I never got that speeding tickets I was expecting. However I was threatened arrest after doing the most criminal of things "leaning out a window"! When I first got my car I was stopped twice a week to check insurance details. Then when in Oxford one day I was mistaken for a football hooligan despite the fact I was no where near the statdium and not sporting anything like a football shirt. They didn't arrest me on this accasion but the threat seemed very apparent.

I was just annoyed that the police get too heavy handed and not go after the real criminals in the UK.

Sorry Robbo if you took it personally.

Rick you are, in my opinion, a real criminal. Your behaviour is contrary to a little known piece of legislation, the Leaning out of the Window Act (as amended) of 1816. Just as well you obeyed the instructions of the copper, otherwise you could have been taken to the local magistrates court, tried, convicted and then birched on Tower Hill. Mind you, you might have enjoyed that bit.
