Title: Meeting in Holland, 25-26/11
Post by: Paddy_NL on September 01, 2006, 09:39:00 pm
Hi to all,

As discussed with a few of you at Le Mans and Donington, I'm trying to organize a booze-up in my office at Rotterdam. The weekend we have planned is the 25th and 26th of November.
Plan is quite simple; I'll get the beer pump out and I will convert my hall into a space were we can have a drink and a talk. When you've had enough you find yourself a space somewhere in the office to sleep. As we are on an industrial estate on a Saturday night, we won't have too much trouble from any neighbors complaining about noise etcetra. There's a shower and a coffee machine for the next morning, so all is taken care off.

We've done it before, last January we had a beer-testing night. Basically we tested two different beers, and the beer you drank at Le Mans at our place was the one we chose that night. Photos to be found underneath, more are on this site (click!) (http://www.soetiepoe.nl/showit/DfH14012006/). We did some go-karting as well then, if all interested and arrive at a decent time (Saturday noon) we could consider doing this again...

PM me if you're interested. There might be some cars driving over, getting a lift might be interesting in this matter. JPC and RCutler already showed interest.

Right Back on Topic!!

I can get a ferry with Norfolkline for £69 (Dover-Dunkerque).  I would expect to use about 100 litres of Diesel for the run at about £90.

Therefor if I you want a lift then:

2 of us:- £79.50
3 of us:- £53
4 of us:- £39.75

Flying KLM is currently £90. I would expect that it will take around 4 hours from Dunkerque to Rotterdam. If there are only a couple of us in the van then I can carry about 30-35 cases of beer aswell. The more poeple the less space/weight.

Let me know if you are intersted.

Alternatively we can take a car?

That's a great idea. Sign me up for this one. I'll provide some German brew for testing.

Sounds like good idea, but have a small problem, It's my birthday on Sun, and I think I have to be around for some reason.

but for anybody who can get to London City airport, flyvlm will do a return flight for £90.80 inc tax.

No good for me as I'm a Northern now.

Found these prices as I'm trying to get to Paris end of Sept.

FYI: It will be Heineken this time, not the German brand we had at Le Mans. ;D

You mentioned bringing some beer over, helles Hefeweizen is always nice... ;) Enjoyed it again at the BMW unit at Zandvoort this wekend.

How far are you from the airport? And when are people planning to go?

Friday to Sunday?
Saturday to Sunday?
Saturday to Monday?

Robspot, I am free and easy, could go out Friday to Sunday and stay in Rotterdam or Amsterdam on Friday night.

Paddy's just 10 minutes away from the Rotterdam Airport and about an hour from Amsterdam. Transportation can be arranged to and from the airport.

We are about fifteen minutes away from Rotterdam Airport, and a fair 45 minute drive from Amsterdam Airport (I know, it's a small country).

Planning is Saturday to Sunday. If all can be here at a reasonable time, we'll try to get to the go-kart centre and do some drinking and driving on the circuit ;D
(just kidding!)

That sounds tempting Rick but if I stay in Amsterdam on friday night I won't be going anywhere on saturday  ;)

Flying seems like a sensible option as one goes at 7.50am on saturday (arrives Rotterdam at 10.10am) and returns at 3.45pm on sunday. I don't fancy a 16 hour round trip drive for one night. I wouldn't mind meeting up on the friday night for a few beers though.

Where is the flight from? If it is bournmouth I could make my way to you on Friday night. Have a few beers and set of in the AM, I must admit Flying is a lot easier. I have done a Amsterdam round trip in the van, not much fun, but amsterdam was! :-)

Heathrow is easy for me so let me know if you are going to fly and I will try and book the same flight.

Hotel's in Rotterdam look cheap (E50-E110) , maybe fly out on Friday evening and stay in Rotterdam, get some of the Dutch guys to show us around  ;D. Then to paddy's on Saturday, stay there on Saturday night. Then fly back on Sunday afternoon.

You can mark me as "possible", if work stays steady till November than I may be able to swing it. If I do attend, no worry about the Weizen or Weissbier as it`s called here in Bayern. I can bring crateloads in my Multivan.

LangTall, I didn`t know that there is a proper time in the Netherlands for drinking Weizen? Is it considered a summer beer, I ask because in Munich it`s drank the whole year round.

Title: Re: Meeting in Holland, 25-26/11
Post by: LangTall on September 06, 2006, 09:32:13 am
Yes, Weizen, or 'witbier' as we call it, is considered a summer beer. When I'm in Germany for my work, I always order Weizen insead of pils, as I find it more appealing.

I'm interested - there's a Transavia flight from Stansted to Rotterdam, currently about £80 including tax.

Need to check with my diary secretary.

If necessary two people or so can sleep at my place from friday on saturday. It's just a studio so not very big but that won't be a problem. It's only for one night. And most of Rotterdams cafés are within a few minutes walking from my door, Paddy lives five minutes away by car.

I just PM'ed Rick that it might be nice for the people coming in on friday to go into Rotterdam that night. Besides two to maybe even four people at my place, I can probably arrange four to five beds at my brothers down the street. He won't bother to joining us since he's an alcoholic with interest in motorsports too. And we can walk there from almost every bar and club in Rotterdam. So if people like that, including people from DfH off course we can do that. As long as there aren't too much people. But even then we'll sort something out.

Hi guys, sorry i've been quiet the past couple of weeks... hectic with work etc

I hope to be able to make the trip on the Friday and then back on the Sunday however it's very much a maybe as I can't really confirm plans for another 4 weeks or so.

I'm away on holiday on Saturday for 2 weeks but will check the forum for the latest when I get back and confirm either way when I can...

Cheers, Vicky

I have been checking the work and family calenders/diaries.
I could well be up for this. It would be good to meet a few of the characters here.
VERY brief meets with FS, JPC, Robspot etc in Lagache this year. Apart from that, you're all "virtual" friends!

We'll see.

I'm in pretty much the same boat as Vicky on this.  Would love to be there but cannot confirm for a few weeks yet.

Starting night school and looking for a new job really screws with the social calendar.   >:(  Oh, if I do make it I may need some willing victims volunteers to practice massage on.  I don't think that will be a problem......will it?  ;)

At the moment it looks like I will be coming over on the ferry from Harwich to the Hoek Van Holland using the Rail-Sail service.

I have spoken with BOB U and this is our plan:-

Using the Rail and Sail from Stenaline, we would meet up at Liverpool Street Station in London at 8am on the friday and start drinking on the High Speed Sailing arriving in Rotterdam Central before 5pm. Crash in Rotterdam after a night out then on to Paddy's on Saturday.
The return journey sets off from Rotterdam at 1430 and arrives back in London at 2130.

Currently the price is only £50 and you can choose which train station you leave from in the UK.

It is half the price of the Air Fares and you do not have to check in all you luggage!

I was going because I didn't realise you were! It's bad enough socialising with HA'ers once a year without making a habit of it.  ;D

Myself and Mr Chenet may be going but won't be able to confirm until nearer the time. We're thinking of either flying on sat morning back sunday or maybe hire a minibus and do a booze cruise as well if there's enough of us.

It's looking promising.  I've lodged a request with the relevant domestic authority.  I've looked into either flying from Stansted to Rotterdam or taking the Stena ferry.  I'll firm up things in a couple of weeks, hopefully.

Is that how you got permission to go Steve?

And in a highly worrying developement, The Gimp and myself are giving serious consideration to the practicalities of attending. Whilst he doesn't mind going Dove-Calais and driving, The Gimp does suffer terribly from seasickness; it's no fun getting a blowback of diced carrot through the little mouthole. Has anyone looked at Ryanair for prices?

That is more or less identical to the Vomit Comet we used in 2002 and which had the Gimp and his brother rolling around on the floor, green in the face, spraying sick up the back of the people in the seat in front due to the uncomfortable motion and stink of burn diesel. It was also on this boat I slipped over in a pool of spew in the toilets and ended up being covered in it, it even got into my watch strap. And all that on a slightly choppy english channel in June. Wild horses would not gets us on that thing on the North Sea in November.

LOL - I went to Guernsey on the "wave piercing supercat" a few times... never seen so many people heaving their guts up!!

My friend and I were getting waitress service of the stewardess for our drinks because everyone was confined to their seats it was so rough!  All the other stewardesses were going round distributing bags and kitchen roll, then going round collecting the full ones!!

What a laugh, we were taking bets on who was gonna be sick next....  8)

Mind you that wasnt as bad as the Condor from Guernsey to St Malo.

Breadth: 40 m
Length: 127 m
Sailing time: approx. 3:40

375 cars

Rick, it's not that big, look at the car in proportion. Anyhow, that will not matter as it's the speed of the thing that makes it so choppy. Good help you, take a bucket. 3.40 is a bloody long time to be trapped on the damn thing and if it's quiet they close daown an engine and it goes slower thereby dragging out the torture longer.

And Easyjet is £49 from Gatwick; we know which we're going on.

Ahh yes but me and Bob will start drinking at 0800 and probably will not stop until we are home on Sunday night! You don't have to stop drinking while checking in, passport control, baggage control, take off, landing, passport control, collecting baggage, airport transfer.

Enjoy flying but it is way too much hassle now for a short flight!

Title: Re: Meeting in Holland, 25-26/11
Post by: Andy Zarse on September 25, 2006, 03:00:27 pm
Ah yes but when one member of Team Zarse is in charge of Gatwick airport, one finds that one is whisked through the formalities rather snappily. And one gets a bargain afternoon in Amsterdam thrown in for good measure, although I'm at a loss as to what to do there. I hear the Van Gogh exhibition is quite pleasant.

Anyway, I tell you, you will not be doing much drinking on that boat except for swallowing mouthfuls of your own bile and stomach acid. And what about the driving? Who will stay sober if you're taking the car?

Ok it's a good price, but will you too not be going through check-in, passport control, customs, bag checks, boarding etc? Surely you won't be allowed to drink at these points? How is it any different to flying?

What a bunch of landlubbers, and there's me thinking that us British were a sea faring nation.

Shame on you Andy, it's a bloody good job that the likes of Drake, Raleigh, Cooke and and all the other great British explorers didn't suffer from the same namby pamby attitude.

Where would we be then? The British empire wouldn't have excisted, we would have no potatoes or tobacco and the Spanish and Portugese would have bagged all the good colonies and we would have only been left with Wales.

Were's your sense of adventure, only poofs are seasick

Bob, whilst I can't speak for the Gimp who goes green at the sight of a deep bath, I'm personally not a land lubber. I'll be out there battling on the highseas for three and a half days later this week; I'm out on the Atlantic/Biscay from wed through saturday. And I dispute that flying is an easy option especially on Sleazyjet and their stunt pilots flying round knackered on maximum allowed hours. Anything can happen!

PS I hear that old Crazy Walt Raleigh was a bit of a puff too, he started all this rum sodomy and the lash business.

I believe that his last words before shuffling off this mortal coil were "Kiss me Hardy"  Couple this fact with the statement that you have just made and I think my point is proven.

The ferry that me and bob are planning on taking is a HUGE catermaran so you should not have any problems with sea sickness.
Stena Line is the most stupid ferry company I ever stumbled on. They quoted me €680.00 for the Donington trip, and for next year they quoted me €80 for a motorbike and €90 for a 5 foot motorbike trailer, both single way! :o

They must have too many customers to choose from :-\

Cars on that line are WAY too expensive mainly because all the flower lorries use it to bring the flowers into the UK as fresh as possible.

Easyjet don't fly to Rotterdam. I assume you're going to Amsterdam. When are you planning to go and come back?

Rick and Bob are you staying in Amsterdam or Rotterdam on the friday night?

Yes Rotterdam is plan, I do not mind Amsterdam but I have not been to Rotterdam and some of DfH are organising a night out on the friday for us.

Looks like it will be Me, BOBU and Andy going out by boat.

 ;D

Anyway, for those of you who are still not sure about coming over to Holland: I will be there as well and I will bring Albert CB with me ;D

As far as the sea-sickness people are concerned: when I was a kid I went to England once on a ferry with very rough sea. Inside I was pretty much enjoying myself with the boat rolling and banging on the waves, but got very sick anyways. So my dad told me to go outside (it was very windy but not much rain). It worked like a miracle! Walking outside in the fresh air (this was around Easter weekend), looking out over the sea, all my sickness went away and I felt better than ever :D Another good place to go was the swimming pool in the very depths of the ship: the boat was going from one side to another but the water was steady, although ofcourse it looked as if the water was splashing around ;)

I am not sure if there are still ferries like that around though, these ferries used to take about six hours to make the trip, they had a little supermarket and a cinema and a restaurant and a swimming pool and even a small gamblingmachine hall. It was really just part of the fun of the trip to England, being on that ferry. I made the trip to England by ferry twice, so four trips on the ferry in total, and I thouroughly enjoyed it  8)

@Doris: VOLUNTEER HERE!!!!! (oh, and could you please give Dirk3D_NL a quick course in massaging then?  ;D )

Not sure yet. I've only got one day's holiday spare so I can either take friday or monday off. Do you fancy doing Amdam on the friday or are you definitely planning for sunday?

I obviously don't know what a schmoke is but I would prefer to do it as far away from the return flight as possible  ;)

We could go either on the fri night or sat am but the flights are cheaper coming back on monday lunchtime as opposed to sunday night. We thought we'd get the sat am flight out; The Gimp likes the idea of a monday off work. Not sure if you're looking at going from Hurn, erm sorry Bournemouth International, or Eastleigh aerodrome, sorry, I mean Southampton Airport. If you wanted to go with us from Gatwick you'd be welcome to stay over at mine on fri evening. This applies to Mr JPC, or anyone else for that matter.

People who are coming in on friday and want to join us in going out in Rotterdam should send me an e-mail or pm. We'll probably go into a bar in the old harbour to start with and then to a pub with live music later on.

Okay, just a little summary for now :)

Definitely coming are: JPChenet, Rick Cutler, HGB, Werner, Robspot, Steve Brown, BobU, Andy, Gimp Zarse & Andy Zarse.
Not completely sure yet are: Gab, Vicky, Doris, Nobby Diesel and six gentlemen from the Brethren.
The DfH-group itself will total a near 25 people.

Those who are coming should aim for arrival at my place (http://www.comef.nl/contact.html) on November 25th at 13.30 hrs.
We'll get go-karting for a few hours at this place (http://www.vanderenderacinginn.nl/) before setting off to this restaurant (http://www.beren.nl/content.php?resolution=2&cat=l3) for some nice ribs or steaks.
After dinner we'll go back to my office to empty out the beer barrels in DfH-style ;)

Any questions? Mail me at patrick@comef.nl
Looking forward to it, it'll be grand! ;D

Paddy you've forgotten to include Chris Zarse from the "absolutely definites" list and also Paul Zarse from the "quite possibles".

Incidentally Paddy, we Zarses are ariving at Schiphol at about 15.00 local. I know we can get a train from Schiphol to Central, but then where is it best to head to? You'll probably all be at the restaurant by the time we reach you, and I would hope we'll be in a similar state of (early) intoxication, so we'll get a taxi from wherever you tell us to alight the train.

Thanks,

Andy Z

Paddy

Can i get this right....

Saturday 25th - Go Karting in Rotterdam, then beer up at your office ??

Sunday - Go Home when sober to move ??

And for a few, Friday night earlier on the piss ??

I've had a look at Dunkirk ferries, i can get the bike on for £36, then have a quick run over to  yours, but i diont finish work until later on the friday, so it would be an early saturday morning start ?? Ferry by 0900hrs, and maybe rotterdam by 1500hers ??

Hello mate ;D

You got it just about right there, the only thing you're missing out is we have booked a complete floor in the local ribs restaurant :)

On Sunday we'll arrange a proper breakfast, with asperines et all...

We're looking at a gathering for 14.00 the latest on Saturday to make it to the go-karts on time, so that might be pushing it a bit for you. If you're going to Dunkirk you can easily count the time left once on the continent. Calais - Rotterdam is only a four hour drive (I've done it in 2¾ on a bike once, but that isn't recommendable ;)).

Alternatively you could leave on the Friday and drive up to Rotterdam the same night. We already have quite a few people coming over to help setting things up, and will most probably all stay in the office on that Friday night as well.
The only thing which might set you back is the journey itself after a full days work :-\

It would be very nice if you could make it (http://forum.drinkingforholland.com/images/smiles/icon_thumbsup.gif)

And not to forget, the English people arriving on friday woll be going into Rotterdam. If the plan doesn't change but I believe they are in for that so probably not.

all change.....

"  phil, i have adjusted your rota on 25th november to a 1600 - 0300 shift to assist with the safer neighbourhoods event, you rest day will be re-allocated "

basically - i'm working now, so wont be able to attend.

Anyone for a ferry ticket......

Refunds not permissable... Was only £36 though.

Yes Mr Brown I'm afraid it does. However, Dover Street will always be there. The chances of my wife sanctioning a surreptitious trip to Amsterdam via Rotterdam are very remote so I shall make the most of it.

Also I can't turn down the chance to see the DfH crew as you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer bunch of people to spend the weekend with  :D

Small update:

• The go-kart centre we originally planned looks too crowded, so Dirk3D is looking for an alternative.

• I have ordered the DVD from LeMansGod, and together with the LMS '06 review (recorded from Motors tonight) it will be shown on a few televisions when we come back from the restaurant.

==================
It's about time for the people who are on the "doubt-list" to tell me if they are still coming.
I also need to know who will require sleeping gear. We can arrange beds and sleeping bags.
Please let me know via PM or in this topic.

Cheers, Patrick

Martini, Hop over to the UK on the boat as a foot passenger and use the rail and a sail that BOBU, Andy, Steve and myself are using. £50 return. OK you have to get the ferry to pompy and then a train up from there.

We will raise a BARREL for you though

No problem at all. Me and my brothers places aren't huge but big enough to accomodate five people. It would definitely be more spacious then a tent on MB.

I would take the ferry with the others. You get a trainticket to Rotterdam and everything included with that if I understood correctly from Rick.

"A new record has been set for toppling dominoes.

Ninety builders from 13 countries went to the Netherlands and spent hours building an amazing domino set that would be demolished in seconds.

Eighties popstar Kim Wilde had the pleasure of being the official pusher enabling 4,079,381 dominoes to fall.

Hundreds of colourful figures, pictures and even an entire domino city fell in this year's record attempt.

The crowd were ecstatic and the crazed contestants were thrilled with their triumph."

So the target has to be 4,079,382 bottles

Maybe Dirk can buy it for you an put it in a truck with flowers going your way?

But how much is £ 500 in booze? Too much to take (partially) in a crate on the ferry? I think you can bring quite some with you in a foldable shopping crate. You just have to carry it to and from the train/boat.

The Edmund Fitzgerald went down in a November storm with the loss of all hands and that was hell of a lot bigger than a North Sea Ferry.

No worries Bob.  Take a good strong bit of rope to lash yourself into your bar stool, put your beer glass on a wet piece of cloth so that it won't slide about and mount your head in gymbals.

Don't worry about the trip with ferry. Taking a train to Rotterdam is much more dangerous. And flying might not be the best alternative either.

Train collission a few days ago at Rotterdam Central.

Helikopter crashed into the North sea last night and was found on the beach of Texel this morning.

Well I've finally pulled my finger out and booked my travel.

I'm going by car and ferry. Out Friday morning in time to do some booze shopping and get to Rotterdam mid/late afternoon to join up for something to eat and a Lemonade or two!

Heading back on Sunday, leaving Rotterdam late morning/lunch time.

The savings on the wine will more than cover the cost of the trip and the wine itself will also keep Mrs Chenet happy!!!  ;)

Just seen the weather forcast for Friday, it looks like we are in for a rough crossing.

The Edmund Fitzgerald went down in a November storm with the loss of all hands and that was hell of a lot bigger than a North Sea Ferry.

http://www.ssefo.com/

Hi Bob,
A long way from the North sea though!

In the Maritime Sailors' Cathedral.
The church bell chimed till it rang twenty-nine times
For each man on the Edmund Fitzgerald.
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they call 'Gitche Gumee'.
Superior, they said, never gives up her dead
When the gales of November come early!

Fresh water can be vicious too.
Phil

Okay, we're all set for a grand DfH-weekend! 8)

Here some financial info on the stuff we're gonna do:
• Go-karts are €13* a go, we have reserved all of us for two goes.
• Restaurant will be around €35 each, this from earlier experiences.
• Beer, Tropicoma and breakfast in the office works out €12,50 each.
All this together totals £50.00, not too bad for a day of fun :P

* Excluding any drinks consumed at the Go-kart centre ;)

What a wonderful weekend with fantastic hosts.

Sebastiaan, Thanks for putting us up on Friday night with all the farting and snoring. That was a great bar you took us to but, oh boy did you look rough on Saturday morning.

Leontien, (amended spelling) It was good of you to drive on Saturday night I especially enjoyed the unexpected trip on the cycle lane. I hope you enjoyed your drink when you got home. I like your taste in music.

Marius. Thanks for the lift back to Rotterdam Central and for handling the finances it must have been a nighmare working out the retaurant and carting tabs. Highlight of the weekend was seeing you  squeezed into the cart.

Paddy, where do I start? All I can say is a bloody big thank you it was the best weekend since Le Mans.

To everyone at DfH,was good to meet those of you that I hadn't met before. Thanks for a most fantastic weekend your hospitality is legendary.

I'll help you on the spelling Bob, it's Leontien. ;)

And it was already an extra large cart they gave me, don't wanna know how it would have been in a regular one....

Making this a regular closure for the season is a very good idea.

Thanks to everyone attending, without all of you it would have been a dull night. ;)

Saturday was a rough start for me but after we got to the karting I had a great day until the early hours of sunday morning.

Hope to see you all again soon. And I'm looking forward to the movie and pictures of the BBQ too.

Huge thanks to everyone for a great weekend.

Sebastiaan, thanks for your entertainment and hospitality Friday night - excellent live band and great to hear 'Radar Love' again in the song's home territory.

Paddy, Roy, Marius and all at DfH - an excessively good time, great karting, food and evening 'entertainment'.
Yes, it was me that got black flagged!.

Did I mention that some beer was involved somewhere.  ;)

Oh, and Saturday morning, a bottle of Grolsch Canon for breakfast. 11.6% but without the kick or syrup style tendencies of Special Brew or Tennants Super. Very Drinkable!! Just need to see how we can integrate it into Tropicoma now!!  ;D

Looking forward to the next get together already!!

With beer, I presume? ;D
I would like to do this annually, it's definitely worth it! 8)

Haven't seen Marius' pics yet, he must have had a busy day at work :-\

Hi Paddy,

thanks again for this great party. And good to hear that you would like to do this annually, I'll be there ;D ;D ;D
Just a suggestion for next year. Me and hgb didn't feel so comfortable leaving you with all the mess in the office on sunday, but we had to take off and couldn't help any further with the clean-up. May be it's an idea for next year just to collect say 4-5 euros from everyone together with the beer-money, with 40+people that would be around 150-200 euros and hire some cleaning company in advance to clear up the mess afterwards, less stress for you

Cheers

Werner

To my pics: I hope to get them from the camera this evening, I was a dead rock on sundayevening, went to bed very early. didn't feel like bringing the camera to work yesterday, and was at the Iron Maiden gig with died_laughing yesterday evening. They totally kicked ass I must say, and they promised us a oldskool tour summer 2008. ;D

Werner: I believe you and hgb pinched in enough by the beer that you brought. The floorcleaning takes the least time, it's the putting stuff back into place which consumes the most time, and you can't leave that to another company.
At 1600 everyone was already gone, so it wasn't that bad.

Like Mark I am at a loss to say something that hasn't been said already.

What a truly great weekend and a huge thanks to all for making it what it was.   8)

Mental note - take cushions for the karts next year.  Damn those bruises hurt!   ;D

Guys what can we say. Please accept a huge vote of thanks to absolutely everyone from Chris, Steve and also from me. It was an absolute epic weekend one way or another. I can honestly say I've never seen Chris Z so drunk he couldn't even move his eyes by the end. The Gimp was up to his normal standard of misbehaviour and proved amusing throughout the weekend. Also enjoyed the company of Robspot Zarse who became a temporary member for the weekend

The night out in Amsterdam was very low key as we had absolutely no energy left in the tank. Think we were in bed by about midnight, which is pathetic in such a party town but it was cos we had such a lively evening before.

Next year I think the return match should be in the Uk if we can find a suitable venue.

Andy,

Trying to find an restaurant that wil serve a group of hungry and thursty DFH and CA memebers will be the biggest problem.

I ám still suprised they were glad to have us at Bella Bear.

A shed to get pissed an crash shouldnt be that hard to find.

I think we behaved ourselves pretty reasonable at the restaurant - no foodfights, no arguements, no shouting, no rudeness towards other customers or personnell. You could tell by the way they joined in on some of the jokes as well. They were actually pretty enthousiastic as we left, and said they would get us a better place next time (not so close to the outside door).
We've consumed for a near €800 in 90 minutes time, something they take into account too.

They've probably seen a lot worse :-\

In addition to everyone else, thanks!

We had a good weekend, shame we couldn't arrive on the friday but we still enjoyed it nevertheless.

Did anyone manage to get a picture of that weird 8 legged monster we found on saturday night?

Pretty poor show of photos guys except for the ones that show (well almost) one of the moderators in a good light. Makes me wonder why...

Karting photos?  Evening photos?

Vegas isn't that restrictive...

Most pictures during karting are quite dark. But didn't want to throw them all out.

To all who made the DfH and TeamJPC/CA meeting so wonderfull: THANKS! I had a great time and a lot of fun but unfortunately I had to go home early on saturday evening 'cause I was getting ill. It didn't help much either: spent the next three days mostly in bed. Without Dirk3D :(
