Title: Rain clothing / english neighbours'/our gazebo
Post by: tommy84 on January 06, 2008, 01:02:57 am
Yes it happened to me, the master of endurance racing...
Had all with me on saturday, went back to BSJ for a quick nap including a major repacking of my backpack - empty beers out, full beers in.
Then I've forgot to put my rainclothing back in and only realized when it started to pour down sunday noon and we were at Tertre Rouge.
We stayed 'til the end as I would've been completely soaked 'til I would've reached BSJ...
I ALWAYS have at least a rainjacket with me, even at the tiny Zolder circuit being accredited and a quick 5min run back to the media centre, but an hour away from the campsite I forget my rainclothes....

Shame on me

and btw

cheers to Bruce and his lads from some place called Shrewsbury,
whose gazebo cracked on thursday whilst they were karting and my mate and I jerked it over their electric belongings.
Wasn't a big surprise they've done the same for us on the next day
That's the Le Mans people you want to have next to you and it was a nice session of BJ btw

I too consider myself an old hand at the endurance racing game, but I've never previously considered a nice session of BJ as being part and parcel of my week at Le Mans. Still, I can see the attraction, it certainly beats the Pit Walk. Move with the times I say.

I'll do the pitwalk this year as it's not too far from HA.

But I get to see the Embassy girls twice a year being accredited, so why should I walk an hour ;D

It's okay Andy they're on Beausejour. Maybe that's why it's called BSJ for short

BJ stands for Black Jack
But we improved - staying on HA this year and of course doing the pitwalk
