Hello all, haven't been here for a while and forgotten my username so have just set up this new one to get me on. The text service you say is part of my doings, I own and run Vingt Quatre, an English company based in Wokingham, just a French name. Named after Le Mans in fact. The Text service is one of our offerings and yes it really is free, the advertising pays for it. It was set up Le Mans as it is a love of mine and I always want a quick and easy race update on the hour, and this i thought fits the bill, and being free, all the better.

It does not cost to receive, this only happens on premium services, this i can re-iterate is not premium rate and is FREE for you guys, the users. The more users we gat this year the bigger we can make the offering so please do spread the word and there is no catch, ask me anything you need to know.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again.... top bloke!  8)

2007 and earlier / co-pilot seats available x2

If anyone in the West Kent, East Surrey, East Sussex area is interested in travelling down to Le Mans, but does not have tickets organised, we have 2 (maybe 3) spare places available.... with potential opportunity to take turns as the co-pilot in a Lotus Esprit S4, Corrado G60 and two Caterhams.

In addition to the sportscars We have a mini-bus in the convoy for taking the heavy equipment (tents, fridges, kitchen sinks etc.) so that the drivers and co-pilots can have a bit of fun on the way down  ;D

We are booked on a Newhaven-Dieppe crossing, departing 8:00am Wednesday morning, returning sometime late Monday afternoon, camping in Houx Annexe and will be easily identifiable by the really huge flag pole (aka. tree).

The route we are taking is Sevenoaks - Tonbridge (Quarry Hill at approx 5:30am) - Tunbridge Wells - Crowborough - Uckfield - Lewes - Newhaven, and can pick up on route provided it's not to far off the beaten track, otherwise we'd have to arrange a rendevouz somewhere suitable for all concerned.

We are the advance party for a well established group who believe in doing it to the max... regulars to the Houx Annexe campsite may be aware of our us from our past antics, such as the Europa hoon-ing on the roundabout, off the scale Sunday night firework displays, extreme parties, exploding bonfires and the biggest flag pole in Le Mans.

Join us or be square!!!

ps. do not fall asleep uninvited in our campsite unless you are prepared to sport a new haircut  ;)
