I'm not a prolific poster but and avid forum reader and long time Le Mans attendee.

It is a testement to the power of Le Mans, this forum and unknown fellow fans that I am compelled to pass on my sincere condolences to someone whom I have never met but has touched me enough to feel deep sadness.

My thoughts are with you Ian and no doubt Deb will be fondly remembered and toasted at the annual gathering in 2013.

And there is the 24minutes programe all week too. Sadly they have the same presenters as last year Robbie Cock and his haddock like co presenter who just grins like the village idiot throughout and throws in the odd inane question.

Ha Ha.  I gave up watching 24Minutes because of Robbie Cock (he has the enthusiasm of a Peugeot fan!).  They have Johnny Herbert and should use him more.......or RLM!!!

On the map on Pauls blog it appears they will be overlooking the pit entry so should still be able to give a heads up, if anything with a bit more notice.  However they will not be able to see the start nor the tropht gantry for the prizegiving.

I've just had a tot up of the scores so far and with the 54 posts we have a culmative attendance of 695 years so far,which averages out at 12.87 years each.....not bad eh.

This total is upto Jules posting so far and our American friends have not contributed yet!!!

I have not included the classic visits either as I feel that is a separate issue
