General Discussion / Re: The "I've got my confirmation" thread

Got e-mail confirmation from those nice people at the ACO for MB. I asked about the zoning business, and the answer was:
"The zoning will be applicated in 2008. In 2007 the places will be only delimited on the floor"
I'm taking that to mean free-for-all location wise, but with marked/sized pitches?
Roll on June!

More of a "lurker" than a poster, this thread has forced me out of hibernaion. (Last post was to flog a spare MB ticket to Piglet last year!) Even If I get my MB alocation this year, I think the ACO will have finally pushed my group over the edge. We have been camping on MB since 1990, from back in the good old days when you could just turn up on the gate. With the increasing difficulty in getting camping passes (4-ish groups from different parts of the country/Europe turning up on different days) this zoning business may well be the final straw.  I just can't get my head around the logistics of it, let alone how the ACO is going to enforce it? Suddenly it doesn't seem like so much fun......

Cheers Paddy  ;D

If I don't get any takers for mine in the next couple of weeks I'm going to flog them on the place that shall not be named.

If anyone has a spare MB ticket I might be interested.......

Piglet, you have PM, Wookie

This ticket has now been sold.

H- thanks for your concern regarding my spare ticket's future!!

The memory of seeing your Jaguar returning on the transporter after your "indiscretion" still brings a tear to my eye!!

Help / Re:notifcation of camping allocation
« on: December 09, 2003, 06:13:42 pm »
Hate to be boring but I'm going to be anyway. I have just checked with the ACO regarding Maison Blanche tickets (booked on Tuesday of raceweek, as usual) and been told:
"we have not yet allocated booking from June, but we can already that we will not be able to allocate you places in the Maison Blanche"

I guess the gist of this means time to talk to those nice, economic, suppliers of complete hostility, whoops, hospitality packages, MRI again..............
Just Tickets are reciting "All campsites are sold out at the moment"
B*gger, blast etc. etc. not again, etc.
