Oh, thanks for the personal invite.

Does this extend to those in Cambridge?

Any room at the Putney inn?

Hi Chris,
Yes - of course you're invited.
Putney Inn might be a bit full but there are other places to stay near by
or as an alternative I'm also arranging a coach to go from Pleshey (about 6 miles north of Chelsmford ) to the club then back (somewhat later)

Hy guys,
I'm having a bit of a getting hitched kind of celebration on 29th September.
So I'm inviting all regular Glub Arnages out for some beers in London.
message me if you'd like to come and I'll send you directions.

Rusty - please pass this on to the other brethren members who don't frequent this site.

PS
I know there's already a group called "Club Arnage" but I thought one with "Le Mans" in the title might attract more people.

Hi guys,
I've just created a facebook entry for "Le Mans 24H" and put a link there to this site so hopefully it'll bring in a few new members.

If anyone here wants to add fotos or comments to the facebook please do but please refer people back to here as this is where the heart is.

« on: June 09, 2006, 12:51:06 am »

This year this is not practical as my wife has kindly arranged to arrive in Le Mans by TGV at 13:00!  So therefore I need to be at the station at that time.

I'm popping to Paris and back friday morning on the tgv to meet a friend. I'm coming back a little later though at 14:00

My favourite is Le Flambadou 14 rue St-Flaceau tel.02 43 24 88 38 - specialities and superb wines from south-west France
There's also the excellent Auberge des 7 Plats 79 Grande-Rue tel.02 43 24 57 77
Both are in the old town not far from the cathedral.
Near the station is St-Lo 97 avenue General Leclerc tel.02 43 24 71 85- good value and traditional cooking.

Is there the usual meal Friday evening ?
