I'm going Friday - Monday  - Wife and kids are coming too so staying in a nice hotel in Aachen on Fri&Sat and spending sunday/monday in Nurburgring staying in the Dorint hotel on the F1 track.

we stayed at the Sofital hotel near the 'rathaus' (city hall) nice 5 star but only E120/night
anyone going should also checkout the russian sub U434 located just down from Prototyp.

leMans exhibition  running till feb 4 . the regular museum is mostly vw/porsche based - some interesting stuff, including schumacher jordan191 and audi r8r  - last pics.....

I was thinking of going this way too - last couple of years we flew int Beauvais with Ryanair and rented a car, this year someone dented the bonnet on the car with a rock or something, luckily I didn't get charged by the rental co., but decided to investigate other options, plus, if I'm not driving back to Beauvais on Sunday I can drink beers

I spoke to the guys at their shop in Sebring, they said they lost their ass in LeMans last year - they had to form a french company in order to trade, pay import tax on the stock they brought in AND export tax on unsold stock they brought back.
