I had another great year - my 38th.  Unfortunately my son and his partner weren't able to go this year so I only met up with one mate from our little group.  Only went over on the Monday so I missed scrutineering and Test Day.  As it happens, I've had some serious health problems over the last 15 months or so and I was really quite lucky to be there.  My eldest was working with the Valkyries that did the track parade on Friday and I was able to meet up with him on Saturday evening.  

Was in the pitlane Friday and the Valkyries were loud as they went past. Noisier than the Hypercars.

Yeah, the exhaust system on the racing versions has strangled the engine note.  I still remember the sound that car made when it went up the hill at the Festival of Speed a few years back.....

Best advice.dont go it’s like a Grand Prix now it’s become too popular.

Totally disagree.  The last few years have seen the best racing we've had for years at Le Mans.  Yes, it's popular and there are plenty of people there but I'm still able to do all the things I've been doing for years.

Sold some tickets a couple of weeks ago, money was refunded to the payment card, took about 3 days to show up.
The wording on the ACO email is rather confusing!

I believe that there is already a viewing area near there, but only for corporate VIP's.
Even if they did build one, I would be surprised if it were for the likes of us plebs.

+1 on this.  The ACO have spent years trying to keep us away from the Mulsanne.... I can't see any reason why they would encourage us to go there now.

The arrival of my hard copy tickets today (yes, I remain old fashioned in that regard) reminds me that I was unsuccessful in getting what I need.  I'm on the lookout for THREE grandstand seats together, ideally in T17/T18 but elsewhere if that's not possible.  I have tickets for two seats together in T17, two more together in T18 and one single T18 ticket.  To my surprise these have arrived as separate tickets (separate from the entry tickets).  It is likely that I will also have two full week entry tickets for sale in due course as well.

NB  I'm not looking to sell any of the tickets I have got yet (although I do have a potential offer already for the T17 tickets), I am looking for some kind of trade so that the three in my 'party' can actually sit together at the start/finish.    Thanks.

He ought to be ashamed!

I'm another who will not be returning in 2025 after 22 years attending.
Huge price rises, to crowded and it's lost it's magic IMHO.

For me, no magic has been lost at all.  It's still incredibly good value when you go for the full week.  And the races themselves have been vastly better over the last 2 years (and that's what I go for).  But the ticketing experience is becoming a lottery, even for those who have supported the ACO through thick and thin for many years.  That's what saddens me.
