General Discussion / Re: Disgusting Mess
« on: June 20, 2006, 09:23:22 pm »
OK, we were camped next to this lot and I can confirm that the mess was nothing short of a disgrace.  Forget any excuse re Pikeys and such they spent their time sitting amongst utter filth.  This was not a case of leaving behind crap they actually spent their time living with it during the stay.  The only reason it wasn't more apparant was that our gazebo covered the mess.

I want to make it clear that our group were not responsible for the mess left by this group who were middle aged, wealthy individuals and not young ruffians.

We were the group with a Quattro banner and Canal banner.

They were a disgrace, their is no excuse for the mess they sat amongst and ultimately left behind.

Congrats to the efforts made by the above two teams, drag racing down the main site road in Houx was great to see.  If the lads with the Pirate ship are on line we helped fix yr Klaxon etc on Saturday evening.

Then Darren also needs some stickers so he can be found again. ;D

Was in the Discovery that only has an old Houx access sticker, the UR Quattro that makes or will be making the trip this year was locked away with no stickers (as yet).  We will be on Houx again this year, 16th yr on the trot for me, hope to see you all this year.

Team Sharpe were deployed on Houx, situated behind the shower block, massive gazeebo with many Royal Ensigns flying, plus Jacks on the pool and the Queens colours flying at 26 ".

What if you had the Queens colours higher than the Jack?

Well Done Liverpool !!  [from a Chelsea Fan]

Only wish the likes of Hanson and his fellow x Liverpool sidekick commentators would remember that there is life outside Liverpool, and perhaps other players may in all teams may deserve some praise.

But anyway, congratulations.......................and I bet you still sell the keeper (or give him away!)

Team Sharpe will deploy from Newhaven first light on Thursday on god knows what as the Seacat perrished.  Arriving Dieppe some time later that day for a jaunt down to Houx.  This years transport for the campaign includes, Audi Coupe, Cerbera, Mr T and his Honda Accord, Mr Mercedes Van and Tink with his Impreza.

Departing Sunday evening and stopping at Chateau Behen nr Abbeyville.  Very pleasant, 5th yr to use the Chateau, cheaper than an Ibis!!!
